1. On average, how many pigs and cows are slaughtered in a day?


2. How are the pigs and cows transported to the slaughterhouse? (e.g. via tricycle or truck).
If so, are they packed together like there is no space available to move, or is the loading
number of these animals is equal to the carrying capacity of the tricycle/van/truck?
3. How many pigs/cows can be slaughtered in a single time inside the slaughterhouse?
4. When they are leashed or a rope is tied to their neck, is the rope being held by another
person, or is the rope tied to a pillar/poste/haligi?
5. Are the personnel in the slaughterhouse trained to carry out stunning (paglampos antes
padug-an) and in bleeding (padugo) of animals?
6. Are there people from the LGU that supervise the slaughterhouse during operating
hours?
7. Are the paraphernalia used like the GI pipes, restraints, and knives maintained properly?
Are they cleaned in right after killing an animal and prior to killing the next?
8. You said earlier that your point of view on animal welfare is only applied to cats and
dogs. What experiences in life do you think influenced you into thinking that cats/dogs
should not be killed, but animals like cows, pigs, goat, and chickens are okay to kill?
