Definition of heritage.

Heritage is the way of life that a society adopts,


and then the members of that society inherit it
from father to grandfather. This pattern includes
various aspects of social, economic, cultural,
artistic, scientific and urban life.
The importance of the national heritage.
Heritage is of great importance represented in
the following:
A person's understanding of his past and pride in
it, which increases his self-confidence.
- Benefiting the individual from the heritage of
his ancestors by following what was right from it
and correcting what was wrong, and thus
developing himself and his society faster.
Adherence to the civilized values of society, and
the individual's conscience is an integral part of
those values
National heritage represents an important
economic resource for society.
Looking at the national or international national
heritage encourages the individual to creativity,
development and openness to different
civilizations.
Heritage sites of Algeria
Bani Hammad Castle
The history of the completion and construction
of the Bani Hammad Castle dates back to the
year 1007 to 1008 AD by Hammad bin Belkin,
and it is considered one of the landmarks of
Islamic civilization in Algeria and an extension
of the state of Hammad bin Belkin.
Timgad

It was established in the year 100 AD by


Emperor Trajan as a military settlement. It has a
square courtyard and its design is based on
columns that are overlooked by the Cardo and
Decumanus, the two main roads that cross the
city.
Djemila
Beautiful or Soykol, located at an altitude of 900
meters above sea level, contains squares,
structures, churches, arches, and houses in the
Romanesque style.
Kasbah
The honor of the Kasbah on the small islands
where a trading center was established since the
fourth century BC. M. It includes the remains of
an old castle, mosques, and Ottoman palaces, as
well as a traditional urban structure

Bani Aad Cave

Bani Ad is a natural cave located between the


heights of the mountains of Ain Fezza at a depth
of 57 meters, and extends about 700 meters in
length and reaches twenty meters in width. The
cave site is about 50 kilometers from the
sparkling city of Tlemcen in western Algeria.
