4.1 Effectiveness of communication process

In guessing games, effective communication is essential for successful gameplay and


cooperation among team members. We have no personal experience or specific
communication methods to guess wordplay. But we have learned the best way to
communicate well.

To improve communication in word guessing games, it is important to establish clear


guidelines and rules for communication. This includes setting a time limit for each
turn, specifying the number of leads allowed or specifying a method of
communication.

A common method of communication in puzzle games is through body movements.


Team members can take turns imagining or explaining words without saying them
directly. It is important to ensure that the clues are clear, concise and relevant to
the guessed word.

Another method of communication that we can incorporate into our games is


through written clues or signals but on game day we don't have time to do this. This
can be useful in situations where verbal communication is not possible or when
additional visual cues can help in conveying a message.

Ultimately, the key to establishing good communication in a guessing game is to


create a supportive and collaborative environment where team members feel
comfortable expressing their ideas and working together to solve the puzzle.*Include
a picture of your group members working together.

4.2 Efforts used to increase motivation

During and before the game our group is very motivated because we have prepared
the best equipment and we have made a plan for the game we do to go smoothly.
Therefore, our group has no problem in controlling emotions and is always
motivated while running the game until finishing the game.

How did you increase motivation?


1. Clear goals and expectations: Clearly define the objectives of the game or project
and communicate them to the team. When team members understand what they
are working towards, it can increase their motivation.
2. Recognition and rewards: Acknowledge and appreciate the efforts and
achievements of team members. Recognizing their contributions, whether through
verbal praise, certificates, or small rewards, can boost motivation and morale.

3. Collaboration and teamwork: Encourage collaboration and foster a sense of


camaraderie among team members. When individuals feel like they are part of a
supportive and cohesive team, it can enhance motivation and engagement.
During and before the game our group is very motivated because we have prepared
the best equipment and we have made a plan for the game we do to go smoothly.
Therefore, our group has no problem in controlling emotions and is always
motivated while running the game until finishing the game.

5. Controlling

5.1 Strength and weakness of product

Strength

1) Our guessing game successfully ends the game before 15 minutes

2) All participants understand and are clear about the rules of the game

3) All the participants played really well and there was no cheating in this game.

Weakness

1) When the first members were playing this game, there were some mistakes made
by the gamekeeper, making it not go so smoothly for the first group.

2) Make the guess the word paper bigger because the players can't see the writing
written on the front, making it a bit difficult for the players to read it.

3) We should make more questions for the guess the word game because during the
game the guess the word paper is almost used up.

5.2 Issues that occurred during implementation phase and improvement

What challenges did you face while carrying out the activity?

The challenge we have faced while implementing the activity is, we have no
experience in explaining the activity or program so it is quite difficult for us to give a
clear instruction or explanation so that all the participants understand what we are
conveying.– How did you solve it?

How we solve it?

We have solved our problem by making exercises in terms of explaining the game
and we have made some notes so that we don't forget when giving an explanation,
in addition we have also made the rules of the game simpler so that we can explain
the rules better. With that, during the game our explanations for the game went well
and all the players understood what we were saying.
