Sunday Purler's Mitts

Suggested yarn: Novita Hile

Gauge: 16 stitches and 27 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch
Needle size: US 7 - 4,5 mm

LEFT HAND:

Cast on 28 stitches with size 4,5 needles using brown yarn. Join for knitting in the round being
careful not to twist. Work K2, P2 rib for 6 rounds.

Change to pink and purl 1 round. Knit 5 rounds plain.

Change to beige and purl 1 round. Knit 5 rounds plain.

Change to brown and purl 1 round. K12, place marker, increase 1, K1, increase 1, place marker, knit
to end of round. Knit 2 rounds slipping all markers. Knit to first marker, slip marker, increase 1, K3,
increase 1, slip marker, knit to end of round. Knit 1 round slipping all markers.

Change to pink and purl 1 round slipping all markers. Knit to first marker, slip marker, increase 1,
K5, increase 1, slip marker, knit to end of round. Knit 2 rounds slipping all markers. Knit to first
marker, slip marker, increase 1, K7, increase 1, slip marker, knit to end of round. Knit 1 round
slipping all markers.
Change to beige and purl 1 round slipping all markers. Knit the next round until you come to the
first marker. Transfer the 9 stitches between the markers to waste yarn. Cast on 1 stitch over the
thumb gusset and continue knitting the round. Knit 4 rounds plain.

Change to brown and purl 1 round. Knit 5 rounds plain.

Change to pink and purl 1 round. Knit 5 rounds plain.

Change to beige and purl 1 round. Bind off.

RIGHT HAND:

Cast on 28 stitches with size 4,5 needles using brown yarn. Join for knitting in the round being
careful not to twist. Work K2, P2 rib for 6 rounds.

Change to pink and purl 1 round. Knit 5 rounds plain.

Change to beige and purl 1 round. Knit 5 rounds plain.

Change to brown and purl 1 round. K15, place marker, increase 1, K1, increase 1, place marker, knit
to end of round. Knit 2 rounds slipping all markers. Knit to first marker, slip marker, increase 1, K3,
increase 1, slip marker, knit to end of round. Knit 1 round slipping all markers.

Change to pink and purl 1 round slipping all markers. Knit to first marker, slip marker, increase 1,
K5, increase 1, slip marker, knit to end of round. Knit 2 rounds slipping all markers. Knit to first
marker, slip marker, increase 1, K7, increase 1, slip marker, knit to end of round. Knit 1 round
slipping all markers.

Change to beige and purl 1 round slipping all markers. Knit the next round until you come to the

THUMB (both hands):

Place the 9 sts from the waste yarn onto your needles. Pick up 2 sts in the gap at the top of the
thumb. Knit 5 rounds plain.

Change to brown and purl 1 round. Bind off.
