Durometer
Durometer is a property that, as applied to elastomers, measures resistance to indention.

A lower number indicates a softer compound that is typically more cut and tear resistant
while providing a smooth ride.

A higher number indicates a harder compound that is typically less susceptible to cuts
and tears while providing improved travel speeds and less heat build-up.
