RELECTION ON EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (ESD)

It has been acknowledge that there is no single route to


sustainable development. Furthermore, it is coherent that
understanding and visions for sustainability will be different
for each of us and that we will need to work together to
negotiate the process of achieving sustainability.

Education for sustainable development is part of UNESCO’s


(United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural
Organization) move in securing quality education for all.
Having a goal may sound relieving since it means that there is
planning but if we look closely into it, achieving the goals
of education for sustainable development.

In addition, education for sustainable development, therefore


focuses on giving people knowledge and skills for lifelong
learning to help them find new solutions to their
environmental, economic and social issues.

Finally, sustainable development on education is definitely


challenging but it is never impossible whenever we put
dedication and effort towards success. Teachers,
administrators, and other stakeholders’ plays vital roles on
achieving academic excellence.
