On Saturday morning, four-year-old Linda Grant and her parents started their day by looking at the newspaper. They

had plans for that day, but not for Sunday, so they quickly skimmed through the entertainment section to see

what events were going on in their town. Then her mom and dad turned on the computer and

read several travel articles online to get ideas for the family’s vacation.

After that, they all went for a drive to visit Linda's grandparents. It was a 45-minute trip, so they

listened to an audio book . It was Linda's favorite: a best-selling children's story read by a number of famous

actors. She enjoyed listening to all the different voices.

When they got home, it was after 8 o'clock. Linda was tired from the long day, so she went upstairs to her bedroom

and jumped right into bed. Her mother came in with a storybook and read aloud to Linda until she closed her

eyes. Then it was her parents' time to relax. Her mother went back down to the living room to join Linda's dad. She

sat down on the sofa and curled up with a romance novel, while her husband relaxed in his armchair and

read an e-book on his new tablet.
