Prologue - Chorus/Introduction to the story

Narrator:
“My only love sprung from my only hate! Too early seen
unknown, and known too late! Prodigious birth of love it is to
me, That I must love a loathed enemy.” An age-old vendetta
between two powerful families, passed down as if it was a
sacred brooch, but can such feud be a toll to an unexpected
love between both families?

Scene 1; School corridor

Avery bumps into Archer, making her let go of her stuff in hand

Avery:
Oh! I’m really sorry!I’m such a klutz.

Avery went to pick up her stuff.

Archer:
Let me help you with those.

Avery:
I’m so sorry.

Archer:
No, it’s fine really.

After picking up her stuff, Archer looked up to give Avery her

stuff, and was stunned by her features(Avery is still looking
down fixing her stuff).

Archer:
Um(pause)here’s your stuff!

Avery looks up and takes her stuff from him.

Avery:
Thank you so much!(chimed) I’m really sorry about earlier.
 Archer:
It’s alright(scratches his nape)

Avery:
Thanks again, I need to go and hurry up. Nice meeting you,
bye.(walks away towards the right side to the backstage)

Jaden walks in from the left side of the stage.

Archer:
woah-(amazed)

Jaden:
Hey Archer!

Archer:
Dude, do you know who that was?

Jaden:
(looks at the direction where Avery went)Oh that’s Avery
Velasco. She’s in my Physics class.

Archer:
(shocked)Velasco?

Jaden:
Yup. (shrugs)I heard she comes from money. Why do you seem all
surprised? Are your families associated with one another?

Archer:
OH NO!- well kinda? I don’t really want to talk about it.

Jaden:
Uh huh-sure sure(smug). Why’d you ask about her then?

Archer:
WELL- I don’t know- I think she’s really pretty- no- GORGEOUS!

Jaden:
 Man- you’re down bad!(exclaimed)

School bell rings

Jaden:
Oh the bell- let’s get a move on; we’ll continue this later,
Romeo.(Walks towards the right side to the backstage)

Archer:
(nervously sighs) Romeo.

Follows towards the right side to the backstage.

Scene 2: When Avery showed up at a friend's house unexpectedly

one day to celebrate a birthday, Archer went over to greet her.
(Birthday Party)

NARRATOR:
Like any other day Archer and his friends met up at the same
spot and converse about whatever. Until their friend Jaden came
rushing in with a message in hand.

Jaden (archer's bff):

I have a friend who is having a birthday party today, and we've
been invited. Let's go!

Elize(bff):
Where? Is it far?

Isla(bff):
Perhaps it's embarrassing because we aren't related to the
person who has a birthday

Jaden:
No, I'll look after you guys. We have been invited as well. So,
don’t be shy to come.

Jaden:
Will you come, Archer? Avery may also be there. (everyone teases
Archer)
 Archer:
Stop tormenting me about her, but I'll definitely come. (they
all smile)

And they all went to the birthday party

When they arrived at the Birthday Party, Archer, and Avery

exchanged glances as if they had never expected to meet.
After they looked at each other they continued what they were
doing.

Seya (the b-day celebrant):

Hey! Hello everyone, I've known Jaden for a very long time.
It's lovely to meet you. Just eat there and take in the
festivities. (Seya smiles)

Speaking alongside Seya are Jaden and his pal. Archer also
immediately dispersed from his friends after spotting Avery.

When Archer saw Avery alone again, he went over to chat with
her.

Archer:
Hey Avery!! That's you, right?

Avery:
Oh, that's me- oh you’re the guy from the other day, I'm sorry
again; I was just in a rush that day. But what brought you here?

Archer: Why is it illegal to see you?

They both laugh

Avery:
certainly not, But how come you know who I am?

Archer:
I asked my friends, and you're stunning, so- (archer smile)

Avery:
halt the sentence; so what is your name?
 Archer:
Oh- I'm Archer Savedra.

Avery:
Your name, it sounds familiar.

Archer:
Given that you already know who I am, I may take your hands and
dance with you, my lady.

Avery extended his hands to Archer as well. (she smiled)

Avery:
Yes, thank you. I would love to. (she look into his eyes and
smile)

When their buddies saw them dancing with teasing smiles, they
followed suit and began to dance as well.

They conversed about their personal lives and got to know one
another as they danced. (They both smile while talking)

After the dance, they took a break and prepared to go home.

Avery has been sent back to her seat by Archer.

Archer:
Nice to meet you; hopefully we'll cross paths again soon. I
also appreciate you introducing yourself to me. (he smiled)

Avery:
Thank you for walking with me; I look forward to seeing you
again and appreciate you in every way. (she smiled)

After thanking Cole with their pals, they departed.

Going backstage
Scene 3: Classroom Agenda

Narrator:
After their encounter at their mutual friend’s party. They
exchanged phone numbers and started finding out they have more
things in common than they thought. Though after knowing about
their families rivalry, they didn’t much care about it. They
both liked one anothers company, to the point that they started
developing these undescribed feelings. Few months after getting
to know one another, Archer finally realized that being just her
friend is something he wouldn't settle for. He wanted to be more
than that.

Avery was rummaging through her stuff when Archer walked towards
her while hiding a rose behind him.

Archer:
Averyyy(chimed)

Avery:
What is it, Archer?(Avery looks back to see Archer with his
handout with the rose in hand)

Archer;
Here(smiles)

Avery smiled back and accepted the rose given to her.

Avery:
Oh Archer(looks at the rose in hand) this is beautiful,(looks up
at Archer) thank you. But(pause) you know how our parents would
react.

Archer:
I know! And I don’t care!I’m willing to risk it all!(exclaimed)
Avery, ever since I’ve laid my eyes on you; day or night, the
image of you is still painted in my mind. So Avery Velasco,
(cups both her hands) will you join me to be the reason to end
this long-term rivalry?

Avery:
(pauses and smiles)You’re very weird sir. You know us being
friends already counts right?

Archer:
Oh.(Archer lets go of her hand being a bit disappointed)

(chuckles)But I know what you’re going for and Yes, I will

Archer Savedra.

Overjoyed Archer scoops Avery into a tight hug.

Avery:
Now,now, let's not get ahead of ourselves.(Archer lets go of
Avery) This does not mean that we’re official or something like
that.

Archer:
I knowww I knowww. I’m not barbaric! I am the embodiment that
chivalry isn’t dead!(prideful)

Avery chuckles from the man’s pridefulness.

Archer:
That’s why I want to formally invite you, my dearest lady
Velasco; to join me in watching cheesy rom-coms in my horseless
carriage after class for our first official date.

AVERY:
(Avery goes with what Archer is going for)Oh my! Well- I would
love to join you Sir Savedra!(exclaimed) But before any of
those(takes her bag) take my bag and walk me to my next
class.(throws bag towards archer).
 ARCHER:
Ow-(bemoaned) Is this bag full of rocks or some?!(exclaimed)

AVERY:
What if I said yes, what are you gonna do about it? Mr.
Embodiment of chivalry.(teased)
ARCHER:
Well I didn’t know that going through the 12 labors of Hercules
comes with courting you.

Avery laughs from that statement.

AVERY:
(Walk 3 steps to the right) What are you waiting for? I’m
already late for my 4th period. Chop chop(demanded)

ARCHER:
Right behind you, your majesty.(bemoaned)

Both walk away towards the back stage. Lights turn off.

NARRATOR:
After class, as Archer promised they’d watched a few movies
until Avery’s parents messaged her to come home. After that
date, they had another one, and another, and another. With those
dates, Archer would always carry Avery’s stuff and walk her to
class. Even if she wasn’t carrying much or if she wasn’t
carrying anything at all he would still walk her to her classes,
because he knows that was the closest thing that he can do to
walking her home. Then one day, Avery announced something.

Avery and Archer were all alone in an empty classroom. Archer

was sitting on a desk while Avery was standing and facing
Archer.

AVERY:
Archer, I think we shouldn’t be friends anymore.(serious)

ARCHER:
What?(timid)
 AVERY:
(walks closer to Archer)I don’t want to be JUST your friend.
(smiles)

Flabbergasted Archer went in and gave his now girlfriend a hug,

as soon as he hugged her the lights turned off.

Scene 4: They have both completed their education.

They are both emotional as they converse backstage because they

can do whatever they want for one another because they are here.
They finally made it. They both graduated with honors degrees.

NARRATOR:
As the days, months and years pass; Avery and Archer finally
makes it to one of the most remarkable points of their lives,
graduation. This was more than just a ceremony, this opened up a
whole new route in life, new possibilities, and the
opportunities to pursue their aspirations. They finally made it.

Avery:
We're finally here. As we get older, we can now do the things
we wish and carry out our plans.

Archer:
I guarantee that all we have planned for the future will come to
pass and be experienced by us. Don't you want us to live in a
house that only we know about, allowing us to be peaceful and
preventing any problems?

Avery:
Yes, I do want that for us. (sobbing)

So as to congratulate them, they went to their pals.

Isla:
We all want to say congratulations! I'm hoping we'll get
all we wish for. It's time to start a new chapter. (smile
at her friends)
 Jaden:
Well done, guys! new starts, new chapters, new lives, and
new projects. (hugs all of them)

Seya:
Congratulations! I'm so proud of you, Avery, my best of
best friends, for persevering this far. A toast to our
upcoming chapters. Congrats everyone. (hugs Avery)

Elize:
Congratulations! Despite our difficulties and despite
wanting to give up, we overcame them. I am really proud of
each and every one of us. (with teary eyes)

They gave each other hugs before parting ways because they
could not rejoice with their relatives present. The fact
that Archer and Avery chose to celebrate independently of
their respective families' celebrations meant that they
were left behind.

They both celebrated in a restaurant by themselves when they

were done planning for their future selves.

Avery:
Archer, Love, I have something to tell you.

Archer:
Hmm. I’m listening.

Avery:
What if our families' problems prevent us from being truly there
for one another?

Archer:
Don't say that; I assured you that I would find a solution
regardless of what occurred; instead, keep us close.

Avery:
No matter what happens to our family, I can count on you to stay
with me.

Archer:
I swear that I will do everything in my power to keep you
close. Just trust me.

Avery:
I love you.

Archer:
I love you more than anything.

They conversed about their families while eating.

After that, they intend to return home to celebrate with their

separate families.
They went backstage

Scene 5: The talk in Velasco's manor.

Avery is sitting at their dining table with her family.

AVERY’S DAD(Cecil):
I really can’t believe that my little girl finally
graduated.(smiles at Avery)

AVERY’S MOM(Liliane):
(a bit teary eyed; places her hand above Avery’s hand) Just then
we were just taking you to your first day of school(sniffles)
now look at you! With your bachelors degree, and soon heading
off to med-school. My baby!(wails and cover her face with her
hands)

Cecil handed his wife a handkerchief, and when receiving the

tissue; she blew her nose.

AVERY:
(softly)There,there(caresses her mother’s back)
 CECIL:
(looks at wife)Come on now Lili, we’ve talked about this.(looks
at avery) You know we almost couldn’t make it to your graduation
because your mother wouldn’t stop crying.

LILIANE:
(removed handkerchief from face) I couldn’t help it!!(wails)

AVERY:
(Awwes)Don’t worry mom, I understand.(comforts mother)

NARRATOR:
As her mother calms down, Avery’s father brings up the topic
that brought chivers down Avery's spine.

CECIL:
Apart from that, Avery, doesn’t this boyfriend of yours go to
the same College as you?

LILIANE:
OH my!(turns to husband and places her hand on his arm) we
should’ve stayed longer Cil!(exclaimed)

Both look towards their daughter.

CECIL:
So Aves, when will we meet this boyfriend of yours? that didn’t
even bother introducing himself earlier(scoffs and rolls his
eyes)

LILIANE:
(Looks at her husband) Cillll, don’t be too hard on the kid. He
was probably busy celebrating with his own family. (Looks at
daughter) But I as well, am curious about this mysterious lover
of yours.

AVERY:
(looks at parents and says nervously) Actually, we’ve been
planning on introducing one another to our parents.
 CECIL:
(Stands up from his seat) Then that’s settled. I want to meet
this man you’ve been talking about.

LILIANE:
How about tomorrow afternoon?!(exclaimed)I’ll tell one of our
maidservants to buy fresh groceries.

Avery looked shocked from what she heard.

AVERY:
Don’t you think tomorrow is a bit too soon?(nervous)

The parents look at their daughter confused.

CECIL:
(laughs)Nothing is too soon, my dear. Just tell this boyfriend
of yours to come at supper and we want to finally meet him.

Cecil walks towards his daughter and places his hand on his
shoulder while Liliane holds her daughter’s hand.

LILIANE:
You don’t have to be so nervous, Aves. Whoever he is, we know
that he is a good man.

CECIL:
(pats shoulder) You should head onto bed. I know you had a long
day.

LILIANE:
We’re so proud of you(caresses daughter’s cheeks) Get some
beauty rest, we have a whole day ahead of us tomorrow(smiles)

CECIL:
Come on now Lili, you need your beauty to rest too.

The family walked to the left side of the stage towards the
backstage.
Scene 6: Avery is introduced to Archer's family.

Avery called Archer that night telling him about the upcoming
dinner via phone call.

AVERY:
Archer, I’m about to tell you something, promise me that you’ll
stay calm.

ARCHER:
What is it?

AVERY:
Promise me first that you won’t freak out (exclaimed)

ARCHER:
Alright, I promise. Someone better not be dying.(laughs)

AVERY:
Alright, here it goes(pause)my parents want to meet you for
dinner tomorrow.

ARCHER:
WHAT?!(exclaimed)

AVERY:
You promised to not freak out!

ARCHER:
Sorry I was just startled- Let’s be honest who
wouldn’t!(exclaimed) But put that aside, Isn’t tomorrow too
soon?
 AVERY:
That’s what I said! But my father says that nothing is too soon.
They’re itching to know who you are.(sighs)

ARCHER:
Gosh the coincidence.. My parents have been asking me about you
as well.

AVERY:
Archer, do you think it will be a good idea to(pause)let them
meet at the same time?

ARCHER:
That’s absurd, I have a feeling it won’t end up so well.

AVERY:
But don’t you think it can be a way for them to talk out their
differences once and for all?

ARCHER:
I don’t know Avery, but it wouldn’t hurt if we try? They’ll find
out eventually anyways.

AVERY:
I’ll tell my father about this first thing in the morning, I’ll
update you by then.

ARCHER:
Things are moving too fast, I wish I could only stop time for
just a second, I would’ve done it right now.

AVERY:
(Chuckles) me too, love, me too.

ARCHER:
It’s getting late Aves, you should head on to bed. I know you
had a hell of a day, time to rest that pretty head of yours my
future surgeon. Good night.

AVERY:
 (Chuckles)Good night to you too, my engineer. I’m so proud of
you- I’m so proud of us.

ARCHER:
I love you so damn much.

AVERY:
Love you too.

Lights off/ preparation for the next scene.

Scene 7: planning

Avery walks slowly towards her parents talking at the dining

table.

AVERY:
Good morning(chimes)

CECIL:
Oh good morning Avery.

LILIANE:
Good morning dear! Have you talked to your boyfriend about our
little gathering later?

AVERY:
Oh about that, so you know when dad said that nothing is too
soon? Well, the funny thing is.. His parents are asking about me
as well and I’m wondering if we can invite them-

Avery gets caught off by her father

CECIL:
My, my, Avery. You better not be pregnant.

AVERY:
(Shocked) No! I’m definitely not!(exclaimed)
 LILIANE:
I’m getting quite excited to meet this fellow and his
fokes(chimed) . You know what (looks at husband) should we dine
out?

CECIL:
That’s a great idea hon. I’ll make a reservation at L’ultima
Cena. (Cecil stands up to make the phone call)

NARRATOR:
After Avery’s dad soon left to make a call Avery excused
herself to update her lover.

Lights off/ preparation for the next setting at the Savedra’s

dining room.

NARRATOR:
At the Savedra’s manor, they were having their morning affairs
as well, but compared to the Velasco’s the ambience was… a bit
gloomy and tense. Compared to the Velasco’s,the Savedra’s aren’t
so affectionate with their children. The Savedra’s are very
reserved and cold at times.

Lights on/Archer walks into the dining room to his father

reading the newspaper and his mom eating breakfast.

ARCHER:
Good morning, (looks at father)father(looks at mother)mother.

VIVIENNE(Archer’s mom):
(looks at Archer then looks back at her plate) What is it
Archer? Haven’t you had breakfast already?

ARCHER:
Remember yesterday when you asked about my girlfriend?

VIVIENNE:
Hmm? What about it?

Curious, Archer’s father took his attention off the newspaper

he’s reading and onto his son, this made Archer more anxious.
 ARCHER:
Her parents have formally invited us for supper at a restaurant.

MAVERICK(Archer’s dad):
What restaurant exactly?

ARCHER:
L’ultima Cena.

MAVERICK:
(Looks back at his newspaper) Your girlfriend’s family has
taste. Vien, do we have any meetings this afternoon?

VIVIENNE:
Yes, we have a meeting with our shareholders at 5 in the
afternoon but other than that none.

MAVERICK:
I see… (folds newspaper and stands up) Alright then.(starts
walking towards the left side of the stage)

ARCHER:
Are you coming to supper then?
Maverick stops and turns to look at his son.

MAVERICK:
We’ll see.

Archer nods, then lights off/ preparation for the next scene.

Scene 8: Supper

NARRATOR:
As the sun sets, both Avery’s parents went to talk to some folks
they knew, while Archer still isn’t sure if his parents would
attend. The lovers were left to order the feast that would be
their dinner. As the two converse, a sudden feeling of regret
struck them.
Lights on/ archer and Avery are seating together at their
reserved table
AVERY:
Ace, I’m having second thoughts about this.

Archer holds Avery’s hand.

ARCHER:
Everything is going to be alright, love. But yeah I have a bad
feeling about this as well.

AVERY:
(Sighs) I’m so stupid, I shouldn’t have suggested this.

ARCHER:
(Looks at avery, concerned) Don’t say that. We’ll get through
this.

Avery forces a smile. Avery’s parents walk towards the lovers

coming from the left side of the stage. As soon as they reach
the table Archer stands up as a form of formality.

LILIANE:
My, my you must be my Avery’s boyfriend.
CECIL:
Pleasure to meet you…

ARCHER:
Archer,(offers hand) It's an honor to meet you both.(smiles)

Cecil shakes Archer's hand.

CECIL:
Sit down, sit down. So, Archer, are you the only one who would
be attending in your family?

Archer’s parents start to walk towards Archer coming from the

left side of the stage.

ARCHER:
Well, I’m not entirely sure-
Archer gets caught off his frustrated father.

MAV:
Archer! What on earth are you doing with these loathsome
scoundrels!

Archer stands up.

VIVIENNE:
Mav lower your voice(whisper)

CECIL:
(Scoffs)(stands up) You’re the one causing ruckus here, Savedra.

Struck by realization Vivienne looks at her son.

VIVIENE:
Archer, is this?

Archer nods.
ARCHER:
Mom, Dad (holds Avery's hand) This is my girlfriend, and yes Mr.
and Mrs. Velasco I am a Savedra. But before any of you can say
anything about this, about us. Why can’t you both stop this
shallow ordeal?

Suddenly from frustration, Mav slapped his own son.

MAV:
How dare you say that this is something shallow!? Don’t you have
any shame left in your body?!(exclaimed) We didn’t raise you to
betray your own flesh and blood, Archer! (angry)

LILIANE:
What is the meaning of this Avery? You know how we feel about
these people! (glaring)
 ARCHER:
Mom, Dad, just this once please listen, Avery and I have
something important to say.

AVERY:
We love each other, despite our families’ rivalry. We want to
be together, and we hope you can accept and respect what we
have. (teary-eyed)

Silence fills the room as the both families exchange glances.

CECIL:
(Scoffs) Lili, tell the waiter that we’ll take what we ordered
to go, we’ll wait for you in the car. Avery, lets go; we’ll
continue this when we get home(grabs Avery’s wrist and drags her
away from the table though she resist)

AVERY:
Dad please!(wails)

Cecil didn’t listen and continued to drag her to the left side
of the stage towards the backstage.

MAV:
Archer, I’m utterly disgusted by you; drive separately. Vien,
talk to your son when we get home. I might kill this buffoon if
I stay in the same room as him (scoffs walks to the left side
toward the backstage;)

Vivienne looked at her son with disappointment and soon followed

her husband.

NARRATOR:
Archer was all alone, he didn’t care about what his parents had
to say, he had experienced the worst from them but the only
thing bothering his mind is what happened to his lover. No
matter how much she resisted, no matter how much she begged her
father to let go. Archer's heart sank seeing the love of his
life sobbing; he was frozen in place, and he couldn’t let out a
single word. It was as if his whole world was taken from him in
a snap of a finger.
Scene 9: Discuss and adjust.

Narrator:
When Archer went home, he couldn’t bring himself to open the
door; he just stood there motionless, speechless at what had
happened to his darling girl.

Vivienne enters the scene

VIVIENNE:
So do you want to tell me about what happened earlier? You and
that girl Avery?! You’re lucky that you only received such from
your father! You know that they’ve been our foes for generations
upon generations(exclaimed) Gosh you’re such an
embarrassment.(frustrated)

ARCHER:
WOW!(scoffs) EMBARRASSMENT, BIG WORD. COMING FROM SOMEONE WHO
USE THEIR BODY TO GET WHAT THEY WANT FROM—(Vivienne slaps archer
due to anger)

VIVIENNE:
(angry and hurt)HOW DARE YOU?! You don’t know anything. You
don't know anything about ME AND THE THINGS I’VE BEEN THROUGH
EVER SINCE I WAS ARRANGE TO THIS MISERABLE FAMILY!(teary eyed)
DO YOU THINK I WANTED TO THOSE?!(Starts crying)

ARCHER:
(Concerned and full of regret with what he said) Mom– I’m sorry-
(tries to comfort his mother but Vien pushes him away)

VIVIENNE:
Don’t touch me (hugs herself turns away from her son)

ARCHER:
Mom, please, I’m really sorry, I didn’t mean it.
 VIVIENNE:
But you did! Archer, you know we only got each other here.
(looks at archer) I know that you feel like an outsider but
Archer, there’s really no escape with the facade between these
two families. (walks towards her son and places her hand on her
child's cheeks)

ARCHER:
(Teary eyed) Are you really sure?

VIVIENNE:
( removes hand from her son's face and shakes her head)You were
born a Savedra, Archer, and you’ll accept every little thing it
comes with being one. Even if that means to choose to let go of
the person you love the most. Archer, the Velasco’s are one of
the reasons why your ancestors suffered, whether it’s about
status or power. Archer Savedra, you cannot love a Velasco.

ARCHER:
I don’t know mother, my heart and soul longs for her.(looks at
his mother with tears in his eyes)Regardless of what her
ancestors did, I can assure you she’s different from what you
think. I can’t bear the thought of letting her go.

VIVIENNE:
(sighs) Archer I’ve been fighting for your battle but this– I
can’t coddle you from your father any longer. You have to
choose, your family, or those people that I guarantee won't
accept you with open arms. Archer, I just want what’s best for
you.

NARRATOR:
Archer couldn’t speak because no matter how much he says he
loves her he knows that what he and Avery have, is nothing
compared to the judgment of both their parents.

ARCHER:
We should head inside, mom; it’s getting late.

VIVIENNE:
 (sighs) I expect an answer from you by tomorrow, Archer.
Archer escorts his mother backstage.

SCENE 10: Plans from the parents.

NARRATOR:
In order to discuss the reasons why he and Archer couldn't be
together, her mother took Avery and her parents as soon as they
came and had them sit in their living room. No matter how much
they may love one another, time and fate will never be on their
side.

Avery:
(deep breath as tears flow) He is the one who gave me love that
I didn't have before. If his family has wronged you in any way,
that should make him a better person in your eyes.

Liliane:
Don't you consider the effects of your decision? Do you realize
that all we've worked for is susceptible to change?

Avery looks up, tears welling in her eyes.

Avery:
I want you to know that I really did love him. You don't even
understand how I feel right now because it hurts so much when
you keep us apart. (crying & begging)

Avery wipes away her tears, her voice shaking.

Cecil:
We have to look after our family, Avery. It's not just about
you, though we know you adore him.

Avery:
Don't you realize that he has come to represent everything I
stand for? I want to stay with him. You are not the person I
should leave if I had to decide to be wounded.
 Avery couldn't take it anymore and just sat on the floor of
their living room and started crying while talking to his
parents.

Liliane:
We adore you, Avery. We adore you a lot. We merely want to keep
you and our family safe.

Cecil:
Although we are unable to predict your future, Aves, we only
want to make sure that the partner you like won't put you
through any pain.

Avery:
Why? Why are you all so unhappy? because you're unwilling to?
I'm here looking like crazy to comprehend you! (shaking voice)

Liliane:

mother for the benefit of our company. When I discovered that
they were dating while I'm making folks nuts because I have no
idea what was going on with them! It felt like my world came
crashing down! (shaking voice with teary-eyed)

Avery stands up, gathering her strength shocked.

Avery:

& disappointed)

Cecil:

 Avery:

gotten so awful that I'm at a loss for what to do.

Liliane comforted her daughter while she sobbed and hugged her.

Liliane:
Aves, take a nap for the time being. I know it stings, but we
must embrace the truth; else, perhaps you two will be in a
different universe. You need boldness and self-assurance right
now. (hugs Avery her daughter)

Cecil:
Aves, I realize it's difficult, but you will eventually come to
terms with what happened. The two of you will benefit from it as
well.

Avery left backstage and her parents left behind.

Cecil:
No! Our daughter will not be allowed to live with the son of

Liliane:

merging our companies, and we’ll request in order for us to
finally merge our companies is by arranging their son with
Avery; Their company is already so close from falling down the
