Pargraph II
A. Indonesia
1.Culture : Indonesia and Malaysia have similar cultures, for example in celebrating
Eid al-Fitr, Indonesian citizens have something in common, namely the culture of
"Mudik" or in Malaysian "Balik Kampung" which means visiting relatives who may
have different cities/regions so that one of them (usually children to their parents) visit
their house to wish them a happy holiday and to stay in touch with one another, and no
doubt this can be a "all in one" reunion with friends in the village.
2.Language : Both Malaysian and Indonesian come from one language, namely Malay,
which is still used by Indonesians in the Sumatra region and has become a loan word in
Indonesian according to PUEBI
3.Food : Indonesia and Malaysia have many of the same foods and they are ALL
DELICIOUS!!!! for example: nasi lemak and nasi uduk, these two foods have many
similarities starting from the side dishes, ingredients, method of preparation, and taste
which tend to be the same
Paragraph III
B. Malasyia
1.Culture : Not only going home or returning to the village, Indonesia and
Malaysia also still have several other similarities such as how to receive guests, attitudes
towards older people and others.
2.Languange : Apart from the same language origin, namely Malay, the language
similarities between Indonesia and Malayia are caused by a continuous ancestral history.
3.Food : Apart from the foods mentioned above, Malasyian food is similar to Indonesian
food, namely rendang, satay and even drinks like cendol. One of these similarities occurs
because both come from the same family.
Conclusion : Indonesia and Malaysia have many similarities, this is because Indonesia and
Malaysia have the same ancestors, so it cannot be denied that Indonesia and Malaysia have
many similarities.
