INT.

BEDROOM NIGHT

…the telephone slides across the bed into Nadja’s hand. Rainer
eye twitching with anger.

RAINER
Don’t touch that phone.

Nadja’s hand dances around the phone

You will regret it. I’m warning you.

Nadja grabs the phone with a quick movement.

Rainer’s eyes lock onto Nadja’s.

RAINER (continued)

STOP!

Rainer’s hand flicks up. As his hand reaches the peak of its
movement Nadja’s hand snaps backwards breaking it into two.
The phone falls to the floor beeping.

NADJA
(In pain)
AHHH!

Nadja throws her now broken hand into the air.

WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?

Rainer sits still in his chair with a smile growing on his

face.

RAINER

I warned you. I told you not to touch that phone.

NADJA
(Crying)

You stupid man!

Rainer’s small smile fades into an emotionless blank face

You are the worst thing to ever happen to me. You

make me sick!
Rainer looks at the phone still beeping on the floor. His eyes
dart to the window behind Nadja. Nadja is now clutching her
broken hand

RAINER

I’m the stupid one? (pause) ME? You’re the one

that’s too scared to tell me you don’t love me
anymore.

Rainer’s eyes have not moved from the window.

Rainer jumps up from his chair and starts swiftly heading
toward the window.

Nadja
(concernedly)

What are you doing?

RAINER

YOU MADE ME DO THIS!

Rainer leaps into the window. Shattering it as he hits it.

Rainer’s eyes lock with Nadja.

RAINER

YOU ARE COMING WITH ME!

Rainer pushes his hand out pulling Nadja to him.

Nadja gets ripped from the bed flying towards Rainer who is
now all the way out the window.

Nadja
(screaming)

NO! PLEASE!

EXT. Street NIGHT

Rainer clutches Nadja in his arms.

Both of them start plummeting to the ground from their 4th
floor window.
