675 KW (NET EXT 250 KW) FOR AL-HAMD
SPINNING PRIVATE LTD. BHIKHI 12-KM
FAISALABAD ROAD, SHEIKHUPURA.

This is a case of extension of load from 425 kW to 675 kW

(Net extension of 250 KW) in the name of Mr. Muhammad
Ayyub S/O Haji Abdul Haq, the Chief Executive of Al-Hamd
Spinning Private Ltd. from tariff B-2 to B-3 for M/s Al-
Hamd Spinning Private Ltd. Bhikhi 12-KM Faisalabad Road,
Sheikhupura. The site has been visited by the undersigned
alongwith AM Planning with staff.

History

Previously the connection was sanctioned for the load of

424.575 kW under Tariff B-2 in the name of Mr.
Muhammad Ayyub S/O Haji Abdul Haq by S.E. 6 th Circle on
dated 5.11.2001. The connection was installed on
22.1.2002 after completing the departmental formalities.
Now the connection is being fed through 11 KV Industrial-3
Mixed load Feeder emanating from 132 KV Bhikhi G/S. The
EOL is also being processed on this feeder.

The loading position of 132 KV Bhikhi G/S and 11 kV

Industrial-3 feeder are as under:

T-1 (20/26 MVA) Industrial-3 feeder

The following cases have already been processed from 132

kV Bhikhi G/S:

1 Zaman Paper & NEW 4850 kW 282.84 Amp

Board
2 AHN Colloids EOL 413.72 to 944 (530.31 kW) 30.43 Amp
3 Shahzore Feeds EOL 497 to 1050 (553 kW) 32.25 Amp
4 Total 345.5 Amp

From above mentioned three cases M/s AHN Colloids is fed

from Industrial-3 feeder, which is also feeding Al-Hamd
Spinning, the instant case.

Following one No. Case is under process from the same 132
kV Bhikhi G/S.

2003 650 Amps 50 %
2004 760 Amps 58 %
T-2 has been energized at No load

Percentage loading after considering instant and under

process extension of load cases

T-1
(20/26 MVA)
Existing 760 Amp 58.24 %
After Load Addition of 760+345.5=1105.5 84.7 %
already sanctioned cases
After considering Under 1105.5+57.15=1162.65 89.09 %
Process Cases
After load addition of 1162.65+14.6=1177.25 90.2 %
instant case (14.6)

The loading condition of transformer is very critical but it is

pertinent to mention here that another transformer T-2 has
been installed on the 132 KV Bhikhi G/S and running on
no load. So, it is recommended to approve the instant case
after making arrangements of load shifting on newly
installed T-2.

Load Flow Analysis

Technical Analysis have been carried out on the load of
195 Amp comprising (Max. load on the feeder 150 Amp +
30.4 Amp for already approved AHN Colloids + 14.6 Amp
required for the instant extension).

As all the technical parameters remain well within
permissible limits of the addition of instant load, so EOL
may be approved

Scope of work

1 From point A to Metering Room, 30-meter 4/0 AWG cable is

proposed and 12-meter existing 4/0 AWG cable will be
dismantled.
2 From Metering Room existing 630 KVA transformer will be
dismantled.

Capital Cost

A Cost of Dismantled Material Rs.25,468/-

B Cost of New Material & Metering Equipment Rs.89,071/-
Total Cost Rs.1,14,539/-

R & R Charges. (Being EOL from 425 to 675 kW)

Sr. Slab Load Rates (Per kW) Amount

No. (Rs.)
1 425-500 75 kW Rs.500/- 37,500/-
2 501-675 175 kW Rs.1500/- 2,62,500/-
Total: 3,00,000/-

Thus total capital cost comes to be Rs.1,14,539/- + Rs.3,00,000/-=

Rs.4,14,539/-

Security Amount
The security for the total load of 675 KW would be updated
from the consumer on fresh rates after adjustment the
security in hand if any and subject to its confirmation from
AM (CS) concerned.
