they have given me.

 PREFACE

In this attachment report I will describe my experiences during my attachment period. The attachment
report contains an overview of the attachment company and the activities, tasks and projects that I have
worked on during my internship. Writing this report, I also will describe and reflect my learning objects
and personal goals that I have set during my internship period.

In compiling this report I have intended to provide a synthesis of theoretical approaches and methods of
implementing them in the world of business. I have tried to discover the relationship between theoretical
and practical type of knowledge. I have tried to bridge the gap between theoretical assumptions and
practical necessities. During the entire course of our academic study we remain engaged in theoretical
learning where the primary objective is academic success. A concise knowledge of the modern business
arena can only be attained through the pragmatic implementation of hypothetical ideas, which we learn
from our academic activities.

With these objectives, I have made all possible efforts and the necessary investigations to submit this
paper in an enlightened form. The report first shall give an overview of the tasks completed during the
period of attachment with technical details. Then the results obtained shall be discussed and analysed.
Report shall also elaborate on the future works which can be persuaded as an advancement of the current
work.

 CHAPTER ONE

1.0 INTRODUCTION

Started attachment on 4th October to 26th November at Logiciel IT Company which is located
at East Airport, 200 meters away from the Palace Mall, Off Spintex Road. Specifically to
gain working experience and obtain hands-on practical in my field of studies.

1.1 BACKGROUND OF THE COMPANY

Logiciel is an indigenous wholly owned Ghanaian turnkey Technological Solutions

Company, delivering cutting-edge software technology in areas including Banking &
Finance, Mobile Monitoring & Tracking and Electronic Data Processing. They invest in
infrastructure and human resource to deliver products, technical support and consultancy
services to our satisfied clientele. Logiciel also specialize in innovative cloud-based systems
for Financial Institutions in Ghana and Sub- Sahara Africa

Logiciel has gained the reputation of being the market leader and driving force behind most
successful microfinance institutions in Ghana. Through its Global Network Delivery Model,
Innovation Network, and Solution Accelerators, Logiciel focuses on helping organizations
address their business challenges effectively.

The company was set up in 2012 by a Team of young energetic Ghanaians whose passion for
national development necessitated their desire in setting up this ICT Company in Ghana. The
young enthusiastic Ghanaians behind this company are; Mr Derrick Kwaku Dankyi and Ms
Farida Bedwei. The Company has made significant progress in the past years in achieving its
target of becoming the leading provider of micro-banking solution for Microfinance
Institutions in Ghana. The company launched its flagship product in 2013 known as “g-Kudi”
which later was rebranded as Zigloi platform for microfinance Institutions in Ghana.

1.2 OBJECTIVES OF THE INDUSTRIAL ATTACHMENT

WEEK 1 (04/10/2021-08/1-2021)

DAY: MONDAY

JOB ASSIGNED: ORIENTATION ON INTERNAL COMMUNICATION

SKILL AQCUIRED: After the orientation, I got the skill on how to communicate with
inline staff and super ordinates in bureaucratic way. I again got the know-how to report back
to our supervisors after a task has been assigned in stipulated time either daily or weekly
through online platforms like email etc.

DAY: TUESDAY

JOB ASSIGNED: LAN CABLE TERMINATION AND COMPUTER NETWORK

SKILL AQCUIRED: I got the skill in terminating CAT5e network cable, fixing registered
jack-45 (RJ-45) and testing the parity level by observing the green jumper lights on the tester
to confirm successful termination of LAN Cable.

I got the skill in assigning logical and physical name identity to nodes or devices on a
network.

I can assign IP address to Computers, Telephones, and Printers on a network to share

common resources.

SKILL ACQUIRED: I can use tools like Figma, Angular, and Bootstrap to design user (UI)
interface of a website.

Have gotten the conceptual elements of designing UI, example; colour schemes, position of
fonts, creating carousels etc.
