1. Document general check (Project Name, Rev No.,

Document title, Document No., Page No., Signature, Font
type and size etc.).
       

2. Confirm the process options in the PID has been

optimized and reviewed by the department. Confirm the        
implementation of review comments.
3. Confirm the consistency of symbols & legends, flow
directions, line types, interconnection drawing numbers,
cross-over of lines, control loops and others with project
       
legend sheet.
4. Confirm the consistency of process flow with basic design
data, design criteria, project numbering rule and operation        
philosophy.
5. Confirm correct control & adjustment loop with main
equipment. (Proper SDV and BDV; PSV if SFD is not        
prepared as applicable)
6. Confirm details of the following equipments shown on the
top of PID, such as Vessels, Exchangers, Compressors /
Blowers, Fired Heaters, Pumps, Columns/Towers,        
Ejectors, Storage Tanks and Electrical Heaters etc.

7. Details of equipments on the top of PID at least include

design pressure and temperature, operation pressure and        
temperature, capacity, size,and duty etc.
8. Confirm the consistency of the design input with basic
design data and other general documents.
       
9. Relevant and proper notes, holds and other descriptions.        
10. Correct scope break, vendor breaks, other contractor
scope/out of scope is correctly marked
       
11. Confirm if client comments are properly incorporated in
the PID. Verify against the CRS (check to be performed
       
IFA issue onwards)
12. Confirm if interdicipline comments are properly
incorporated in the PID. (check to be performed IFR issue
       
onwards)
13. Confirm if Hazop comments are properly incorporated in
the PID. Verify against the HAZOP closeout (check        
performed IFD issue onwards)
