Accomplishment Report on the Implementation of Brigada Pagbasa 2021 - 2022

To adhere with the program on the Division Memorandum No. 100, series
of 2021, Bacarri Elementary School Project “PANGU” is an after-school
reading program that envisions bringing together education partners and
volunteers to help learners read and become literate.
Project”PANGU” is indeed functioning through the great efforts and
cooperation of the school staff and community volunteers in implementing the
school’s brigada pagbasa program. Sitio Binabagan and Duli of Barangay
Bunot is where the project “PANGU” was first launched. The two barangays
namely Bacarri and Bunot is composed of 127 learners having an assigned
volunteer readers and tutors per sitio in the person of Mrs Beata G. Guiniguin
and Mrs Jingjing T. Agno- (Ampecla-Duli BP), Mrs Geliza L. Apayao-
(Guilom BP), Mrs.Agnida W. Belowan – (Lanaggan BP) and Gladys Gail M.
An-naway - (Bacarri BP) were the active BP volunteers who shared their
efforts willingly together with the teachers in the deliverance of the brigada
pagbasa main goal.
As to feedback gathered during the conduct of the project “PANGU” by
the elders and parents, it was observed that this activity helped a lot in
addressing the learner’s progress particular on their reading skills wherein
their interest and love for reading was enhanced.
The BES staff is working continuously on this matter for the development
and reading enrichment of Bacarrian learners.
