COMPARATIVES
Los comparativos se utilizan para comparar dos
objetos/personas/animales.

SHORT ADJECTIVES
Para adjetivos cortos se agrega la terminación -er. y
posteriormente se utiliza la palabra than para comparar.

Examples:
I am taller than my sister
My friends are older than me.
Canada is colder than Colombia.
I am taller than my brother.

LONG ADJECTIVES
Para adjetivos largos se utiliza la palabra more antes del adjetivo
y posteriormente se usa than para comparar.

INTERESTING MORE INTERESTING


Examples:
Jazz music is more relaxing than salsa music.
In my opinion, books are more interesting than movies.
Cars are more expensive than bikes.

Cars are more expensive than bikes.


SUPERLATIVES
Los superlativos se utilizan para comparar un elemento del resto
de su tipo (por ejemplo, comparar una canción de un cantante con
las demás canciones que tiene).

SHORT ADJECTIVES
Antes del adjetivo se usa the y luego al adjetivos se le agrega la terminación -est.

TALL THE TALLEST


Examples:
I am the tallest student in my class.
Turtles are the slowest animals.
Brazil is the biggest country of South America.

I am the tallest student in my class.

LONG ADJECTIVES
Primera se escribe the y antes del adjetivo se agrega la palabra most.

INTERESTING THE MOST INTERESTING


Examples:
Cristiano Ronaldo is the most popular soccer player in the world.
Crocodiles are the most dangerous animals in the rivers.

Algunos adjetivos comunes no siguen las reglas vistas para
comparativos y superlativos, se muestran a continuación:

Examples:
Normal: Soccer is good.
Comparative: Soccer is better than basketball.
Superlative: Soccer is the best sport in the world.

PRESENT PERFECT
El presente perfecto se utiliza para acciones del pasado que siguen teniendo
influencia en el presente, como experiencias o acciones que han sucedido múltiples
veces en el pasado. Para este tiempo usaremos los verbos en "past participle" (ver
tabla), ejemplo: go -> gone.

Affirmative structure:
subject + have/has + verb in past participle + complement

Negative structure:
subject + haven't/hasn't + verb in past participle + complement

Nota: a veces se usa la palabra ever que significa alguna vez
