Absolutely No Transport For A Day
Absolutely No Transport For A Day
Winston Churchill says, “Victory is a beautiful, bright-colored flower. Transport is the stem
without which it could never have blossomed”.
Very well put up, this subtle quote perfectly explains us the importance of transportation. Living
in a hassle filled life, managing our hectic work schedules we really forget to appreciate our
transport services. We do get stuck somewhere, blame the traffic and get all frustrated, but in the
end, we do reach our destination.
What if one day you get to know that there is no transport for a day?
After a calming and relaxed Sunday, we all get hopelessly ready for the very annoying
“Monday”. The week kick starts with this not so wanted day, but here is the twist, you put on
your television while sipping your morning tea and there the news channels declares that due to
some technical issue, there is no transport for an entire day.
Now what?
Now your mind is in a complete mess, some of you might not worry at all, some might worry a
little and some might be panicking already. In our country, large population depends upon
transportation, not all of us are fortunate enough to purchase a car. Travelling is a part of our
daily routine, if it gets disturbed everything else gets disturbed too.
The real question is what happens? There are two sides, the good and the bad, starting with the
bad ones first.
Have to skip school, college and work.
Exam going students will suffer.
Important meetings are going to get cancelled.
We all will be constantly at unrest, mind flooding with persisting thoughts, leading to
frustration.
People who have a flight to catch won’t be able to.
People who earn through these transportations will suffer.
Health care sector will hit a rough patch, patients will suffer due to unavailability of
doctors.
No workers in the workplace.
Those returning home from a night shift or someone coming home after a long time will
get stranded somewhere.
Tiffin services will have to face a huge loss.
