The DTZ at a glance

Structure and duration of the exam
The test participants work on communicative tasks in the four skill areas of listening, reading, writing and speaking.
The exam is conducted in two parts: a written and an oral exam.
The written exam consists of the parts "listening and reading" and "writing". In "Hearing and Reading" participants should
understand spoken and written texts. They solve a total of 45 tasks for the various texts by marking the solution on an answer
sheet. In the “Writing” part, they write a letter. The oral exam consists of five tasks and takes the form of an oral exam.
