3-14. Would you want to work at Netflix? Why or why not?

- I will be delighted if I will be given a chance to work at Netflix. It has an amazing work culture
which promotes freedom and responsibility among its employees. Employees are given ample of
free time for vacation which I believe can develop their resourcefulness and creativity. In my
own perspective, it is an advantage on the employees’ part that they are not given stressful
working conditions.

3-15. Does Netflix have characteristics of an innovative culture?

- Netflix definitely has characteristics of an innovative culture. It displays an environment that


supports employee’s creative thinking and propose efforts to yield economic value from its
employee’s creativity to generate new and improved products. It gives freedom to its
employees on what they do best, hence increasing the possibility of a more effective and
creative output that will exceed the expectations of the target market.

3-16. Do you agree that Netflix’s culture contributes to the organization’s success?

- I am certain that Netflix’s culture contributes to the organization’s success. It gives freedom and
responsibility to its employees without sacrificing the expected outcomes. These enable
employees to work in a favorable condition without the burdens of having to work in a formal
working setting with fixed working schedules. This unique work scheme motivates the
employees to work hard and do their best to live up to the company’s expectations.

3-17. Could another company copy Netflix’s culture successfully?

- Nowadays, a lot of companies have emerged. It is not surprising that one of these days, a
company might copy the Netflix’s culture. With the right strategy and appropriate planning, I am
sure that it’s possible to imitate Netflix’s culture and achieve the same excellence it has attained
over the years.
