A murder had taken place in New York city.

The victim, unfortunately, was the mayor of the

city. The town’s most skilled detective, Holmes, was assigned to find the ruthless murderer.

Holmes hosted search parties around certain parts of the city. They searched for clues while
Holmes investigated the crime scene. It happened at the mayor’s house on a normal Saturday
night. His wife was sitting near the pool while the mayor was signing some important
documents. Suddenly, the lights went out for a moment. It lasted for about 3 minutes. After the
lights were back on, the mayor was reported dead by his wife.

No fingerprints were found although the police were sure that he was murdered. There was a
bullet hole right in his head. The police assumed that the killer killed him using a sniper from
150 yards away. However, the mayor’s wife also mentioned that she heard no gunshots.

This puzzled Holmes. Every guess made by the police were denied by the mayor’s wife as if she
was trying to hide something. But Holmes wouldn’t accuse someone of something he’s not sure
of. So, he continued his investigation.

The next day, search parties reported a sniper support print on the dirt. It seems like the sniper
was waiting for the moment for about an hour based on the size of the print. Now they were
almost certain that the killer was using a sniper.

The thing is that only a really skilled person could’ve hit the shot. This led to the thought that
the murderer was either ex-military or a person working with bad people.

Then, a thought came to Holmes’ head. Since the mayor was shot, he could track down the
murderer with the registered bullet. But the thing is that the bullet in his head was no where to
be found. It almost seemed like a person took the bullet back judged by how his head was
squished.

The very next day, the mayor’s wife was reported dead. But for this time, a bullet was left right
in the body of her. Once they’ve identified the buyer of the bullet, they immediately caged
Holmes. Somehow, when the police identified the bullet, it led all the way to Holmes.
