SANATE FOOD COMPLEX is one of the leading supplier of flour and corn flour - based food
products nationwide in Ethiopia. Senate Food complex is located its head office at Shashamane
and bale robe towns. Having started its operation in 2005 E.C. it is one of the most modern food
complexes in Ethiopia.

 BACKGROUND OF SANATE FOOD COMPLEX
SANATE flour factory was established in 2005 E.C with a starting capital of 32,000,000
Ethiopian birr. It’s owned by Mr. Muhammedsani Kedir; Young, energetic and enthusiastic
person born in Hora Boka, a town near Bale robe. He is born from agrarian family and he started
farming at his young age by supplying wheat grain to the nearby local market. After a few years
in 2001, he established Sanate Flour Factory with 28 employees.

The factory is named after a coldest place, Sanate, which is a beautiful tourist area on
Southeastern Ethiopia, Bale zone of Oromia regional state.

By the time, the flour factory was built on 3,500 m2 area of land at Bale Robe town and 5,000 m2
at Shashamane town. The factory has, additional Corn flour production lines at shashamane
branch with a total capacity of 500 quintals per day, this lines produce quality flour mill
products.

Now a day, Sanate Food Complex has 280 permanent and 110 seasonal employees. The factory
has, 2 macaroni production lines with a total capacity of 750 quintals per day, this lines produce
different portfolios of more than 4 types. “PRIMO” is registered brand and “Quality is our
business plan” is Motto of Sanate food complex.

BRAND OF THE CORN FLOUR MILL LINE

The factory has one projects which are on the final phase to be completed after two month.
PRIMO CORN FLAKES, which is the latest and modern corn flakes making machine. The corn
flakes production line has a capacity of 500 quintals per day.

In addition to the food sector, Sanate Food Complex has installing a 3 Star Tour and travel
company in Addis Ababa town.

AFTTER PRODUCTION
During Production Check

Inspection during production is carried out to check and verify that the initial discrepancies have
been rectified and to ensure the average quality standard of production runs.

Final Random Inspection (FIR)

Final random inspection is carried out when the total consignment is packed and ready for
shipment. FRI is performed according to the International Inspection Standards.

Quality Management Systems

We completed our ISO

certification process in 2015. So you may rest assured that we will always thrive to achieve high
standards of quality.
