OBJECTIVES
This study aims to assess the quality of water in Putik,
Tugbungan, and Southcom. Specifically it aims to:
1. Test the physical properties of the water if its feasible and safe
for drinking with the following parameters:
a. color
b. pH
c. odor
d. Hardness
e. Alkalinity
f. Total dissolved solids, nitrite, and oxygen

2. Test the bacteriological property of the water sample with the


following parameter:
a. fecal coliform
3. Calculate the Pollution Indices of the three (3) sampling site
4. Benchmark the quality of water in the three (3) sampling sites
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
Raise awareness regarding the water quality such as
notifying the barangay health center.

Understand and measure water quality as it directly


impacts human consumption and health, industrial and
domestic use, and the natural environment.

This study contributes to the well-being and quality of


life of the communities relying on deep wells.
