Subject: Our Astounding ASPIRE Awards Nominees

It is the most wonderful time of the year, and I am not talking about Christmas! After a fulfilling
and financially successful year, it is time we recognize over 140 of our associates who have
received ASPIRE Award nominations for their corporate achievements.

Nominees can be recognized for one of four available awards. All nominations must be made by
other OneAmerica associates or committees. These awards are placed into four categories:
- Distinguished Achievement
- Outstanding Leadership
- Excellence in Execution
- Excellence in Partnership

In order to be nominated, associates must embody a respectable list of requirements including

the ASPIRE values. These values are considered the following:
- Achievement
- Stewardship
- Integrity
- Responsiveness
- Excellence

The event will take place at 7 p.m. on Nov. 12, in Butler University’s Clowes Hall. An online
attendance option will be offered for those who cannot make the trip. The winner of each
category will receive the dignification of the award, along with a monetary gift of $5,000.

As your CEO, I am proud to have the honor of leading such an extraordinary group of
employees. At the same time, I would like to extend additional recognition to our 140 nominees;
keep doing amazing things in the years to come.
