Free Fall Boat realise

The release mechanism equipped on this lifeboat consists of hydraulic jack in outside part,
and hydraulic pump inside lifeboat. By pumping the hydraulic pump, the hydraulic jack will
operate, initiating the free-fall launch of the lifeboat. Operating this mechanism incorrectly can
lead to the accidental dropping of lifeboat. Therefore, please use this mechanism as
instructed!!!!
Preparation for release

1. Remove the safety pin.

2. Set the safety pin to the appropriate

position.

1. Confirm that release valve of normal release handle and that of emergency release handle
are close or not (Turn clockwise)

2. Take off safety hook which fixes handle bar.

3. Loosen air vent plug. (Turn anticlockwise)

4. Operate with handle bar (Pumping)

5. Lifeboat is freely fallen in case that rod is set at specific position after
operation of water pressure jack.

For emergency release use emergency release handle with same

procedure described above.
