2. MATERILAS AND METHODS

3. RESULTS AND CALCULATIONS

3.1 RESULTS

:Write your experimental anthropometric parameters into the Table 1 below

Table 1: Anthropometric Parameters Measurements

3.2 CALCULATIONS

1. Calculate the following descriptive statistics for each anthropometric parameter and
record them in Table 2 below:
 Mean Female
 Mean Male
 Mean Population
 Standard Deviation Female
 Standard Deviation Male
 Standard Deviation Population

2. Calculate the followings “Relative Length” for each Subject and record them in Table
3 below.

Show your calculations*

3. According to the figure below, write what the measurements 1 and 2 represent and
explain the difference between these measurements and the ones that you measured
during the lab.

4. Calculate the 5th, 50th and 95th percentiles for each anthropometric measured
parameter (by population).
4. DISCUSSION AND REMARKS

1. Contrast the experimental results to the theoretical ones for anthropometric parameters
and comment on the reliability of them.

2. Discuss the sources of variations during taking anthropometric measurements for body
segments? (4 points)
