Dearly Beloved,

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO THE CHURCH

Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. It becomes imperative
to keep you abreast of some important information pertaining to our organization. The details
are stated below:

1. WAMCO SUNDAY/OFFERING
Necessary to inform all our adherents that Sunday 29th October, 2023 is WAMCO
Sunday (West Africa Missions Council). Gratefully, we are in the Missions Month. The
Leadership enjoins all churches to pray for our work generally in West Africa to gain
more spread and momentum. In our usual culture to strengthen the work, all churches
are to collect WAMCO Offering and same must be remitted to the National 100%.

2. 14 DAYS PRAYER AND FASTING FOR NATIONAL CONVENTION


Our National Convention is fast approaching (Nov. 13th - 19th, 2023). All our churches
are directed to embark on daily 14 days prayer and fasting for the Convention from
Monday, 30th October to Sunday, 12th November, 2023. the National Prayer Ministry
has already produced an online prayer bulletin that should be utilised in all churches for
this prayer and fasting. The Leadership is grateful in advance for your cooperation.

3. GLOBAL PRAYER CALL/PRAYER FOR THE PERSECUTED


Sunday, 5th November, 2023 is the World Day of Prayer for the persecuted. All our
churches are directed to dedicate quality time to pray for the persecuted people all round
the world. As a matter of fact, persecution is becoming more rampant in the world due
to insurgency fundamental islamist, racial discrimination, gender domination, child
slavery amongst others. Necessary also to inform us that Saturday, 4th November, 2023
is the Global Prayer Call, our General Overseer will be joining some few others to raise
their voices to God on behalf of the Nations of the World and the Church. He will
specifically be leading prayer for the persecuted around the world. The media
information is attached to enable our participation, we request our leaders to be part of
the programmes.
4. IKORODU MEGA CRUSADE BY CCRW/PASTOR MATTHEW ASHIMOLOWO
The Ikorodu Mega Crusade organized by Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo and Christ
Compassion to the Rural World (CCRW) comes up from Monday, 6th November to
Saturday, 11th November, 2023 at Igbogbo Stadium in Ikorodu. This crusade is targeted
at destroying satanic altars and winning souls to God’s Kingdom. The strategy is to
deploy humanitarian kindness alongside spiritual weapons. The crusade intends to
deploy distribution of food and clothing items on a large scale, medical team would be
on ground to minister to the sick, prayer warriors would also be available to pray for
God’s touch on every soul. The Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria would be on
ground to partner with the organisers. We have been saddled with the responsibility of
counselling respondents to altar calls. All our pastors and adherents in Ikorodu Axis are
encouraged to give the needed support to ensure the success of the programme.

5. CONFERMENT OF DOCTORAL AWARD ON OUR AMIABLE GENERAL OVERSEER


Our General Overseer, Rev. Sam Aboyeji was recently conferred with the award of
Doctor of Divinity (D.D) on the order of the Primate and Archbishop of the Anglican
Communion, The Most Rev. Henry C. Ndukuba. The Award was conferred by the
Crowther Graduate Theological Seminary in Abeokuta on Friday, 20 th October, 2023.
The beauty of the award is that he is being recognised for his contribution to spiritual
leadership with vision and integrity, church growth and development, service to both
local and global communities, academic excellence and market place modelling.

6. REPORTING CHURCHES PIONEERED THROUGH MISSION MONTH


The month of October is our Mission month. Some of the expected highlights include
aggressive planting of churches, road shows and street meetings. We request all
pastors to urgently report churches planted through their districts in the annex portal.

We thank you for your various activities in the past and trust God to strengthen you further
in the performance of your callings and responsibilities. May the Lord continue to bless you
and support all your endeavors.
