POV: LET THE PARTICIPANTS EAT A CHOEY CHOCO, BUT FIRST THE HAVE TO

OBSERVED IT SOFTNESS, ITS PACKAGING AND ITS PHYSICAL APPEARANCE, THEN

HAVE THEM EAT IT BY NOT CHEWING.

POV: ASKED THEM WHAT HAVE THEY OBSERVE? ACCEPT ALL ANSWERS, LET THEM
KNOW THAT ANSWERS ARE CORRECT. ASKED THEM WHAT HAVE THEY LEARNED,
THEN SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS.

This choey choco was the best piece of chocolate I ever ate. Why? I took my time. I was
present in the moment of eating the chocolate. More importantly, I shared this experience
with some great friends and colleagues at work.

“There is nothing better than a friend, unless it is a friend with chocolate.”

– Linda Grayson

Being present is a big part of building relationships, at work and at home. If you notice
every nuance, pay attention to every word, give someone or something your undivided
attention, this what we have to do to our speakers for today– like we did with an ordinary
piece of chocolate – imagine the relationships we were able to build. Because Life is like
a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.---Tom Hanks in Forrest
Gump

Some come into your life for a reason, some for only a season and some just to tag along for
the sweet, sweet ride of life.

“The present moment is filled with joy and happiness. If you are attentive, you will see
it.”
