When to use KREBS-26 • Tensile Strength

Due to its propietary formula providing o 2000 PSI (13.8 MPa)

resistance, KREBS-26 is recommended for
fine to medium size solids.

Color
Standard Color is blue.
Wear Resistance
KREBS-26 has outstanding abrasion
resistance especially for sliding abrasion and
fine solids and is recommended for many
pump applications.
Chemical Resistance
KREBS-26 has moderate resistance against
chemical slurries. KREBS-26 has low
resistance to oils, but fair to good resistance
against some acidic and alkaline conditions.

Microstructure
KREBS-26 is a proprietary reinforced natural
rubber compound designed for slurry pump
applications.
Storage
Recommended practice is to store the part
as close as possible to its installed
configuration to protect the material and
shape of the part. In addition parts should
be stored away from direct heat, sunlight
and other factors which can reduce the life
of rubber. Inspect for cracking, degradation,
discoloration and other signs of rubber
degradation.
