you a heck of a pain at first but it’s great

stepping stone through being a role
model of a coverage of people, soon
you’ll realize… it’s the love affair you
want to have.

Host 2: Now, let’s give around of
applause to the 2nd best presenter of
today’s congress, we have ()
Host 1: Now the most awaiting, a loving
mother, an astounding wife, and a great
doctor. She managed to grab the 1st
place for best presenter and best
research paper for the 2023 research
congress.
Host 2: Let’s give a warm applause for
(MRS. GONZALES)
Host 1: Once again, congratulations to
you Mrs. Gonzales, nag iwan ka talaga
ng
legacy sa generation na ito.
Host: Mrs. Gonzales, is it okay na
kumuha tayo ng ilan sa ating audience?
They want to ask some questions about
your astounding achievements.
Doctor: Sure, I’ll try my very best to
answer your curious minds.
Audience 1: Hello Doc, hindi po talaga
nandito para magtanong, I just want to
thank you. Napakalaki po ng tulong nyo
sa ating kababayan. Hindi lang po kayo
naggawa ng research, just because you
want to, you made proposals to benefit
us, para maimprove yung health naming.
Audience 2: Oo nga po Doc, I’ve read a
lot about your proposals, gumawa pa po
kayo ng several investigations about sa
dengue nakatulong para maimprove ang
medicine natin.
Audience 3: Doc may I ask, what made
you this successful?

Doc: There are several factors na
tumulong saakin to be where am I today,
my determination, my friends, my family,
and especially my faith kay Lord.

(Mary)Narrator: When you have bunch of

achievements, many individuals look
upon you, they see you as the perfect
model, flawless wellbeing. Pero hindi nila
alam, sa likod ng mataas na pader at
Magandang kurtina, ay ang paghihirap,
sakripisyo, at pagod na iyong inilaan
para sa love affair na ito.

SECOND SCENE
(Doctor’s Hardships)

(3am)
(titingin sa relo si Doc)
Doctor: 3am? t-test are marked up in this
table, data analysis were screwed, the
alternative hypothesis was not even
accepted, I’m afraid I can’t do it on time.
(lalapit si husband)
Husband: Oh? 3am na gising ka pa rin?
Doctor: kailangan ko to matapos, this
proposal is important
Husband: Ganon ba? Ito coffee, basta
wag mo kalimutan mag pahinga, alam
mo namang mas importante ang
wellness diba? Rest tomorrow.
Doctor: I promise magpapahinga ako, I
just need to finish this.

Next Day
Doc: Mali nanaman yung data, ilang
beses ko na tong nirevise
Son1: Ma, need mo na matulog, 2am na
oh, bukas mo na gawin yan
Doc: No, I need to finish this, need ko
makahabol sa deadline ng pagpapasa
Next day
Son 2: Ma, hindi mo parin pala tapos
yan?? Ilang araw mo na yan ginagawa.
Doctor: That’s why I’m getting frustrated,
ilang araw na pero madami pa ring
loopholes, I can’t get the best research
paper if madaming loopholes ang idea
ko.
Son 2: I know you’re tired ma, pero do u
think na matatapos mo yan successfully

Next Day
(Nalulungkot Si Doc)

Son 3: Ma? Okay ka lang ba? Why do

you look so down?
Doctor: I didn’t make it on time nak,
nasayang efforts ko sa ilang buwan kong
pag gugol sa paggawa ng research
Son 3: I know this is your passion ma,
research is your actual true love. Hindi
lang yon, you also have the willingness
na matulungan ang community through
your research. Kaya nga kahit di ka
nakaabot sa time, proud pa rin kami
sayo.
Doctor: You’ve always supported me,
kayo ng dad at mga kapatid mo. I can
stiil try for the next evaluation next week,
sisiguraduhin kong maipapasa ko na
talaga to.
Doctor: I’m just scared, na ba hindi ko
maivoice out yung idea’s ko for
preventing jaundice for new born. Ang
laking factor non para maimprove yung
health nila. As a pediatric, this is my
responsibility.

Third Scene
(Sa bahay ulit ni DOC)
Doc: Kinakabahan ako, what if hindi sila
interested sa research ko?
Husband: Ano ba, be positive, kung hindi
mo makuha yan, that’s okay, pwede ka
magtry ulit next year.
Son 1: Ma, alam mo wag kang kabahan,
wag mo imanifest na hindi ka
matatanggap
Son 2: Tsaka mom, don’t lose your
desire to help kahit na may possibilities
na di ka matanggap.
Son3: For me mom?? You got the best
research
*BIGLANG NAGRING YUNG PHONE*
Doc: Hello, Mrs. Gonzales speaking.
Someone from the congress: Hello Doc,
this is from science hub, I just want to tell
you that your research got accepted, you
may present it next week.
Doc: I got in… NATANGGAP YUNG
RESEARCH KO!
Third scene
Doctor: So you see, hindi ako iisa nung
tinahak ko ang passion ko, research is
my love affair pero ang asawa at mga
anak ko, they never stop supporting me.
They are my building blocks, they are the
reference to my rrl, sila ang tulay na
nagbigay saakin ng daan para
matulungan ko ang mga kababayan ko
through my research. That’s why I’m so
thankful for having them by my side.
