GOAL

 Your task is to create a bazaar/booth (ASIAN TRAVEL EXPO) showcasing the beauty,
culture, and landmarks of selected and/or assigned Asian country.
 Your goal is to provide your audience a glimpse of what your audience can see, feel,
and taste in your assigned country.
 The challenge is to provide your audience materials/things which can satisfy their five
senses and make them feel that they’ve visited your assigned country.
 The obstacle to overcome is how you can showcase you assigned country by using the
materials/things present in the community.

ROLE

 You are a TOUR GUIDE/TRAVEL GUIDE which showcases the beauty and culture of
your country.
 You have been asked to demonstrate the beauty of your country by presenting
leaflets/fliers indicating the history, customs, and famous places to visit to your
customers. You will also tell the culture of your country by providing music, dance,
and/or drama to them.
 Your job is to ensure that your customers are well educated about your country and for
them to experience the culture through music, dance, and/or presentation.

AUDIENCE

 Your clients are selected GRADE 7 students.


 At the end of the bazaar, your clients will pick the best booth that they think showcased
and educated them about an Asian country.
 You need to convince your clients that the country you are representing is the best
among the rest in the bazaar.

SITUATION
 The context you find yourself in is selling your country to your clients via presentation of
the history, customs and traditions, culture, and the arts. You have to convince them that
your country is the best place to learn and visit.
 The challenge involves dealing with your clients and educating them about the history
and customs and traditions. To step up the game, you need to present the culture of
your assigned country through visualization and demonstration of the different Arts
(music, painting, dance, sculpture, drama)

PRODUCT

 You need to develop the following…


o Fliers/ Leaflets – information about your country
o Exhibit – pictures of famous places and arts
o Video Presentation – A short video clip that talks about your country
o Food Tasting/Selling – A delicacy of which the country is famous to
o Booth – styling your area suitable to your country representing that can attract
possible clients
o Music/Dance presentation – showing the culture of your assigned country
 You will also create an ACTION PLAN citing your strategies in creating your booth in
order to fully implement the bazaar.

STANDARDS and CRITERIA [INDICATORS]

 Your performance needs to be an informative as well as, artistic, in a way the clients
must enjoy what your assigned country has to offer.
 Your clients will choose the TOP 3 Booths of the bazaar and Special Citations at the end
of the Bazaar.
 Your products must meet the following standards:
o Creativity
o Artistry
o Informative
o Discipline
 A successful result would mean a satisfied and educated client.
