Glowing Bottle Directions

1. Grab empty bottle and peel wrapper off. Throw

wrapper in garbage.
2. Ask teacher for help for step 2! I don’t want you to cut
yourself. Cut open a glow stick and place in bottle.
3. Shake the glow stick contents into bottle after cap is
twisted on. We don’t want to make a mess! Hold over
trash can by Mr. Ickes’ desk.
4. Twist off bottle cap and add diamond glitter. Use 1/2 of
small packet.
5. Seal the top with lid.
6. Shake well! The glow bottle should glow, ask teacher to
turn out lights. Hand Glow bottle to Mr. Ickes.
7. Put everything back nice and neat. Clean container in
restroom.
 Lava Lamp Directions
1. Empty ¼ of the 4/4 of small baby oil bottle into the larger
partly filled/empty bottle with the RED cap.
2. Add water to the top of the neck of the small baby oil
bottle. DO NOT FILL TO THE TOP OF THE CAP!!!
3. Add three drops of food coloring to the bottle.
4. Twist cap on and wait until the water/food coloring
mixture reaches the bottom.
5. Turn bottle upside down and see your lava lamp working by
keeping the oil and water mixture separated.
6. Hand Lava Lamp to Mr. Ickes.
7. Put everything back nice and neat. Clean container in
restroom.
 Gooey slime Directions
1. Add 4 teaspoons (Use red teaspoon) of water to
plastic bag.
2. Then add 4oz. bottle of white glue to the same bag.
3. Add 2-3 drops of food coloring to the mixture.
4. Next, zip-lock the plastic bag and mix contents
well.
5. Add a ½ of a small bag of glitter Mix well!
6. Finally, add 4 tablespoons of liquid laundry
detergent. Make sure to mix well!
7. If too gooey add a pinch or two of baking soda. If
the solution is to thick ask teacher to add some
contact solution. MIX WELL!
8. Hand slime to Mr. Ickes.

bag.
2. Then add 4oz. bottle of white glue inside of the same
bag.
3. Add 2-3 drops of food coloring to the mixture.
4. Next, zip-lock the plastic bag and mix contents well.
Finally, add 4 tablespoons of liquid laundry detergent. Make
sure to mix well! MIX WELL!!!!

water in bag.
2. Mix 1 tsp of baking soda.
3. Mix in food coloring and glitter.
4. Mix in a Tablespoon of saline solution.
5. Knead until smooth and stickiness has disappeared.
