VOTER REGISTRATION CLERK (TEMPORARY) X 30 TENABLE IN
LOBATSE CONSTITUENCY

Applications are invited from suitably qualified citizens of Botswana

for the above-mentioned position in the Independent Electoral
Commission (IEC) tenable at the following Polling Districts (Council
Wards) in the Lobatse Constituency:

Boswelatlou

Pitikwe

Tsopeng North

Tsopeng South

Woodhall

Botoka

New Look- Maipei

Maokaneng

Thema-Motswedi

Peleng East
Peleng Central

Kgaboesele

This appointment will be for the duration of the Voter Registration

Exercise which will run from the 1st November 2023 – 30th November
2023.

BENEFITS: Voter Registration Allowance of P250.00 per day

QUALIFICATION: At least Form 5

AGE: Applicants should be 18 years of age and above.

REQUIREMENTS: •Good interpersonal skills.

•Full knowledge of the constituency.

•Applicants should be residents of the

Constituency.

•Previous experience in electoral processes will

be an added advantage.

•Candidates should be available for the entire

voter registration period.

•Applicants should indicate the Polling Station

applied for.

MAIN DUTIES:

(a)Registers voters within their respective polling station.

(b)Ensures proper care and cleanliness of registration

books/ forms entrusted to them.

(c)Ensures that voters who apply to be registered possess

the relevant
requirements for registration, and advise them
accordingly.
 (d)Undertakes any other duties as may be assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Working days Seven (7) days per week. The Seventh (7 th) day
will attract double payment rate as it is
supposed to be a rest day in line with Labour
Laws.

Working hours 0800 hrs – 1800 hrs on weekdays (with 1hour

lunch break)
0800 hrs – 1600 hrs on weekends (with 1hour
lunch break)

(b) Brief summary of career with duties - Curriculum Vitae

(CV)

(c)Certified copies of certificates, valid National Identity

Card (Omang) and at least two (2) references for proof
of work experience.
