5. Integration: Science

III. Procedure

Teacher’s Activity Student’s Activity

A. Preliminary Activities

1. Greetings And Prayer

“May I request Aguilon to please lead us a
prayer” Aguilon “ Yes sir”
(Aguilon lead the prayer)

“Amen” “Amen”
“Good Morning Class” “Good Morning Sir”
2. Checking of Attendance

“ Who are absent today?” “None sir”

“Very Good”
“Now, let’s proceed”
3. Review
“Yesterday we discussed about the ecosystem
diversity “

“Can you tell me what is ecosystem diversity?”

“Ecosystem diversity deals with the variations in
ecosystems within a geographical location and
its overall impact on human existence and the
environment. Ecosystem diversity addresses the
combined characteristics of biotic properties and
abiotic properties
“Very Good”
B. Developmental Activities

1. Setting of Standards
“Before going into our new topic, I will present
to you our class rules”
1. Keep quiet when someone
is talking.
2. Listen attentively to the
discussion.
3. Raise your hand if you
want to answer and
participate actively
“Everyone, please read the class rules” (Student’s read the class rules)
1. Keep quiet when someone
is talking.
2. Listen attentively to the
discussion.
3. Raise your hand if you
want to answer and
participate actively
“I’am expecting everyone to follow and be
reminded with our class rules along the way our
class discussion.” “Yes sir”
2. Motivation
“So, this time class let us have an activity, this
activity is entitled, “ Describe Me”
“Here is the procedure.”
1) I will post one word in the
board.
2) All you must do is to
think one word that
describe the given word
in the board.
3) After you post your
chosen word you have to
give a insight about it
“Now everyone, please read the procedure in the
board.”
(Student’s read the procedure)
1. I will post one word in the board.
2. All you must do is to think one
word that describe the given
word in the board.
3. After you post your chosen word
you have to give a insight about it

"“Okay thank you, so is it everybody

understand the procedure.”
“Yes, Sir”
“Very Good, now you can proceed to your
activity” (Student’s will do the activity)
3. Reading of objectives

“For today’s lesson objectives:

1. discuss thoroughly the
importance of ecosystem
equilibrium
2. value the importance of
ecosystem equilibrium through
presenting its benefits to the
modern environment
3. draw an image that illustrate the
representation of ecosystem
equilibrium
“Everyone, read the our objectives for today’s
discussion.” (Student’s read the objectives)
1. discuss thoroughly the
importance of ecosystem
equilibrium
2. value the importance of
ecosystem equilibrium through
presenting its benefits to the
modern environment
3. draw an image that illustrate the
representation of ecosystem
equilibrium

“Okay , thank you”

4. ⁸Presentation of the lesson
“Based of your activity, what have you notice
that, we will be tackle today? (Student raise their hands)

“Yes Cheryll” “systematic balance, sir”

“close enough, anything else?” (Student raise their hands)

“Yes, Andrew” “stability sir”

“Yes, stability of what? (Student raise their hands)

“Yes, Apelo” “Stability of things, sir”

“Okay, our topic for today is balance of

ecosystem or ecosystem equilibrium, before we
start our discussion let’s group you into 3
groups. The row 1 will be the group 1; the row 2
will be the group 2; the row 3 will be the group
3;the row 4 will be the group 4, this activity is
entitled “Can you tell?”

Activity# 1
“Can you tell?”
Objectives:
1. discuss thoroughly the
importance of ecosystem
equilibrium.
2. value the importance of
ecosystem equilibrium through
presenting its benefits to the
modern environment.
Materials:
1. Manila Paper
2. Marker
3. Guided Question
4. Printed picture
Here are the procedure:

1. Each group will be given a picture that

describe ecosystem equilibrium.
2. Discuss with your group about the
picture and scan in the internet about it.
3. Then choose your representative in your
group, I will give you 5 minutes and
after the time you must paste it to the
board.

(Group 1,2,3,4)

Rubric:
Organization: 25%
Content: 50%
Style: 25%
100%
Guided Question:
(Group 1)
1. What is the importance of
equilibrium of the ecosystem?
2. What is the imbalance of
ecosystem equilibrium?
(Group 2)
1. How ecosystem stabilize when
stress occurred?
2. How disturbance/stress have a
major impact to the stability of
the ecosystem?
(Group 3)
1. When can you tell, an ecosystem
is in disturbance/stress?
2. When disturbance/stress
occurred?
(Group 4)
1. Enumerate some examples of
disturbance/stress in a
ecosystem?
2. Explain the benefits of ecosystem
equilibrium to the modern
environment

“Now before giving you your time within your

group, can you all read the procedure.”

1. Each group well be given a different

picture that describe ecosystem
equilibrium.
2. Discuss with your group about the
assigned picture and give your insight
about it.
3. Then choose your representative in your
group, I will give you 5 minutes and
after the time you must report it to the
front.

“Thank you, now here is your materials, group

1,2,3,4”
“Any question class?”

Okay class if none, your 5 minutes starts now. “None, sir”

(Student’s are making their activity)

(After 5 minutes)
Times up! Class your 5 minutes is done already.
Arrange your chair class and paste your group
output in the board.

(Student’s are pasting already in the board)

“Now, let’s start with group one reporting.”

“Good morning classmates this is our report

“Very Good group 1, let us give them around of from group 1, (The student will present output)
applause.” that would be all classmate, thank you.”

“Now let us proceed to group 2.”

“Good morning classmates this is our report

“Very Good group 2, let us give them around of from group 2, (The student will present output)
applause.” that would be all classmate, thank you.”

Next to group 2, we have group 3

“Good morning classmates this is our report

“Very Good group 3, let us give them around of from group 3, (The student will present output)
applause.” that would be all classmate, thank you. ”

“And now the last presenter , group 4.”

“Good morning classmates this is our report

“Very Good group 4, let us give them around of from group 4, (The student will present output)
applause.” that would be all classmate, thank you. ”

“Congratulation everyone, you have made your

activity very well, give yourself a (magaling
clap)

(The students did the, magaling clap)
