Regulation on liquids, aerosols and gels (LAG’s)
Forbidden items
Dangerous items, e.g. blunt, pointed or sharp objects (with a blade length exceeding 6 cm) and
sports equipment (golf clubs, ski poles etc.) as well as weapons (including parts and replicas or
toy weapons) in cabin baggage are prohibited by law.
Violations will be prosecuted and can be fined up to 10.000 €.
Please pack these items in your checked baggage. For information on how to transport these
items safely by air, please contact your airline.
Detailed information concerning cabin baggage regulations will be provided by the federal
police or otherwise responsible authorities.
Dangerous Goods
Do not carry the following dangerous goods on your body or in your baggage.
Please contact your airline for exceptions and on how to transport these goods.
Explosives Gases Flammable Liquids and Oxidizing Substances Lithium metal batteries with a
Flammable Solids lithium metal content below 2 g
and lithium ion rechargeable
batteries rating below 100 Wh
may be transported in cabin baggage
or checked baggage when contained
in equipment (e.g. laptops, tablets,
cameras). Spare batteries of any kind
may only be transported in cabin bag-
gage. Power banks are considered as

Goods must be in cabin baggage only.
If you are denied boarding or if your flight is cancelled or delayed for at least two hours, ask at the
check-in counter or boarding gate for a written statement of your rights, particularly with regard to
compensation and assistance.
