Preparing a Project Proposal

Project proposal are documents that define a project, including

things such as start and end dates, objectives and goals. It provides
information and justification why and how these project ideas must be
implemented.

I. Title of the Project

PROJECT LOGO-Create a logo for your project. The logo that is

stimulating and interesting, and most especially, would capture
the purpose of your project in its graphic elements. Give also
the rationale of the logo.

II. Project Rationale

 1. How will you describe the community?

State the location of your target project participants, size, demographic

profile, educational background, and any relevant issues.

2. What specific issue/challenge of the community/sector/DSWD center

you want to address?
State briefly the problem/need of your target community/
population you will address and the benefits to the
community/audience.

3. How do you intend to address this issue/challenge?

Construct a SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic,

and Time-bound) objective to run the project.

III. Methodology

1. How will you describe the specific solution or approach to address

the identified need/s?

List the activities to be employed (e.g., training, seminar/webinars,

infographics, social cards, social media campaigns,
info-animation, teaching plan, etc.).

IV. Budget Preparation

1. List down the different resources needed with its monetary

requirement in order to conduct the identified project activities.
Consider low-cost or cost efficient.
2. Identify organizations for partnership to maximize social networks.

V. Sustainability Mechanism

How can the project implemented be sustained? What

scheme may be set-up to ensure that the project is sustained?

Example, tie-ups with barangay health centers, barangay officials

or other agencies/organizations in the community.
C. Project Implementation

This is the period where the project design will be in operation.

In this phase, the group of students will run the project in the identified
community guided by the project project plan. Changes of plans may
