Name:Kernyuy Leonard Mbiydzenyuy

Birth: 24th February 1998

Parents: Wirkom Hippolyte Kernyuy (RIP) and Kongla Solange Kidze.

Primary Education: St John the Baptist Catholic Mission (2001-2003) Government School Bamenda
Station(2004-2007) : Obtained First School Leaving Certificate.

Secondary school: Government Bilingual High school Bamendakwe via SHUMAS Scholarship for the
underprivileged. Served as Library Prefect and as a Volunteer with Mandela Voluntary Foundation
Cameroon (MANVOFCAM), engaged in campaigns for peace. Obtained Ordinary and Advanced level
certificates.(2008-2015)

Application and Entry into Seminary:

2016/2017: Bishop Rogan College ( served in the Library)

2017/2018: St John Mary Vianney Spiritual Center (served in the Library and as Journalist)

2018-2021: Philosophicum at St John Paul II Major Seminary (SAJOPAMS), Mamfe. Obtained a Bachelor
in Philosophy from The Pontifical University (Urbanania), Rome and Catholic University of Cameroon
(CATUC), Bamenda. (Served in the Library, Farm and as Journalist)

2021/2022: Pastoral Year at All Saints Catholic College Bayele.( Among other functions, served as a
teacher of Religious Studies and Logic)

2022/2023: Probation period for discernment. Relocation to Bafousam (Assisting in Catechesis at St

Patrick Anglophone Parish Maetur, Part time English Teacher at Group Scolaire La Rive, Banengo. Also a
Volunteer at SHUMAS NGO, working with Internaly displaced persons.
