Scientific Writing aims to create an application for the introduction of

swimming sports. This application is made for the introduction and learning of
history, rules with international standards and basic techniques in swimming. The
stages of making this application consist of planning for making applications,
analyzing the needs of making applications, designing application navigation
structures, designing application storyboards, designing application interfaces,
making application programs using Android Studio, and testing applications using
Android devices. The result of this application is an android file with the extension
.apk, where the user or users of this application can directly run this application.
Information about the basic techniques of swimming in this application is in the
form of text and is equipped with images. The test results using an android device
show that this application can be run without errors. It is hoped that this application
can be a medium of entertainment and learning for users to practice swimming
skills.
