PCG HISTORY

Oct 26 1905 - bureau of coast guard and transportation was abolished and the functions were taken by

Customs and the Bureau of Public Works until the commonwealth period.

FUNCTION

Maritime Search and Rescue – Sila naman ang naresponde kapag nangangailangan ng rescue specifically

Maritime Security – taga pangalaga sa mga vessels upang maiwasan ang paggawa ng mga illegal.

Maritime Law Enforcement – meron silang karapatan na icheck ang mga ships or vessels para makaiwas
sa mga human trafficking or illegal act.
PDEA HISTORY

Republic Act 9165 Comprehensive dangerous drugs act of 2002 and signed on june 7,2002, published on
june 19, 2002 and Took effect on July 4, 2002.

FUNCTION

Malinis ang bawat barangay sa droga, at meron silang one jurisdiction one operation rule upang

NBI HISTORY

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) saw its inception on November 13, 1936 upon
approval of Commonwealth Act No. 181 by the legislature
During the Japanese occupation, the DI was affiliated with the Bureau of Internal Revenue
and the Philippine Constabulary known as the Bureau of Investigation (BI).
On June 19, 1947, by virtue of Republic Act No.157, it was reorganized into the Bureau of
Investigation. Later, it was amended by Executive Order No. 94 issued on October 4, 1947
renaming it to what it is presently known, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). It

PNP HISTORY

Republic Act No. 8551 entitled “PNP Reform and the Reorganization Act of 1998” was
enacted on February 17, 1998, amending certain provisions of Republic Act No. 6975, to further
strengthen the PNP into a highly efficient and competent police force.
BI HISTORY
The Bureau of Immigration started as a division of the Bureau of Customs during the American
regime in 1899. This was pursuant to Act No. 702 of the Philippine Commission.
The functions of Immigration were transferred in 1937 as a division under the Bureau of Labor.
On January 22, 1940, the Second National Assembly of the Philippine Commonwealth enacted
the Philippine Immigration Act of 1940 (Commonwealth Act No. 613).
