Abstract:
"El- Omda" is considered one of the most important books of Ibn Rashik in Arab Maghreb in
the fifteenth century of migration . His writer tried to study everything concerning Arab literary
life, especially poetry, poets and criticism in particular by discussion and giving opinion.
This study seeks to monitor Ibn Rushik views by addressing the most important monetary issues
dealt with in his work, an attempt to reveal one of the great poets and critics who contributed to
the flourishing of poetry and criticism, not only in Arab Maghreb, but in Arab Maghreb and
Levant alike.
