Story

It was a lovely winter’s day. The sun was shining and the light breeze was blowing.
So, Dan and Martin decided to go skating on the lake near their cabin. Both boys
adored fun at the lake. They had been skating for over one hour, and suddenly the
ice cracked. Alas, one of the boys fell into the snow. It was Dan and he had not
learned to swim before. Without thinking for a long time, Martin tried to rescue his
friend. He threw the scarf to Dan and that poor boy hardly grabbed it. Martin had
been pulling him out for about thirty minutes as Dan was plump enough. After the
rescue, Den felt relief but he was shivering and shaking and that is why the friend
ran to Dan’s mother as fast as lightning and told her what had happened. The
woman was excited and asked Martin to warm her son with the woolen blankets
until she called the emergency services. When it arrived, the boy looked so sluggish
and that’s why he was taken to hospital. Fortunately, Dan was happy alive.
