    Instructions to add signature digitally

    Note – This works on Adobe Acrobat

    Please follow the below steps to put your signature electronically.

    · Open the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat.

    · Click on Tools and select Fill & Sign option.

    · Click Sign, and then select Add Signature.

    · You will see a Popup, giving you three options : Type, Draw, Image
    Draw : Use this option to draw your signature which must be same as your actual
    signature

    Image: Use this option to insert your signature from external source if you already
    have an e-signature

    Note : HMRC will not accept name typed as a signature and hence we do not
    recommend you to use Type option

    · Once you're done, click the Apply button.

    · Drag, resize and position the signature inside your PDF file.
