CMPT641 – Assignment3_2023_ PortfolioCreation

Digital Transformation Portfolio

This assignment is worth 10% of your final grade.

Purpose

This writing- intensive Digital Transformation course places emphasis on learning the good business
decision-making and problem solving skills related to assessing organizational needs for the
implementation and management of digital transformation in organizations. Writing is a process of
discovery, drafting, and revision. For instance, all major Individual assignments, mini research based
discussions and various group discussion in the coursework require that students develop drafts as well
as participate in other key activities that enable students to arrive at a final, polished revision. Yet those
final revisions do not always reveal the hard work that a student has put in to create them. This portfolio
assignment is designed to help you document that work, making visible all the steps taken to craft and
improve your major assignments and various other discussion activities.

It will also afford you with the opportunity to track your development as a writer and researcher
through CMPT- 641. So, now this assignment is asking you to reflect on some of the activities you have
completed, to consider what you have learned about the Digital Transformation along the way, and to
look ahead to CMPT- 641 in future on the basis of course content shared each week.

This class will use MICROSOFT SWAY( Watch various videos), a portfolio software tool licensed by
Microsoft Corporation, for student portfolios. Uploading all of your work is easy, and our class already
has a provided learning, reading material to use for assembling your work each week.

Digital Portfolio Examples

The ePortfolios linked below are creative, fun, and effective. Although they use different
approaches (and different platforms), they are alike in embodying the student's reflections on his
or her learning while at the same time showcasing his or her achievements. Students are
encouraged to review these examples and think critically about how they might construct their
own portfolio. Students should not copy these portfolios but rather use them as guides to
enhance and improve their own work. You can do research on more digital portfolios to
showcase your performance in addition to these.
