BIOSPHERE

GROUP ACTIVITY IN EMTECH

THE BIOSPHERE

The Biosphere is the part of the earth where

living things exist.
THE BIOSPHERE CONTAINS
THREE SYSTEMS:
- ATMOSPHERE
- HYDROSPHERE
- LITHOSPHERE
ATMOSPHERE
Earth's atmosphere is composed of a series
of layers, each with its own specific traits.
Moving upward from ground level, these
layers are called the troposphere,
stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere,
and exosphere.
ATMOSPHERE
HYDROSPHERE
A hydrosphere is the total amount of
water on a planet. The hydrosphere
includes water that is on the surface of
the planet, underground, and in the air. A
planet's hydrosphere can be liquid, vapor,
or ice. On Earth, liquid water exists on the
surface in the form of oceans, lakes, and
rivers.
LITHOSPHERE

The lithosphere is the solid, outer part of

Earth, including the brittle upper portion of
the mantle and the crust.
CONCLUSION

The biosphere is the narrow zone on the

surface of the earth where land, water, and
air interact to sustain life. Biotic and abiotic
resources are the types of the biosphere.
The Biosphere is divided into areas known
as Biomes.
