Jerry had to travel to Italy yesterday. He left the house at 10 o’clock in the morning and caught a taxi to the airport. He went to the check-in desk with his luggage. When the airline agent
asked for his passport, Jerry got very angry. He realized he didn't have his passport. He took another taxi and told the driver to take him home. The driver drove quickly and Jerry was back
home in twenty minutes. He ran into the house and went into his bedroom. He found his passport on the bedside table and left the house again. But the taxi wasn't there! Jerry was furious. "I
don't believe it. The taxi left!" he shouted. He started running along the street and saw a bus which was going to the airport. So, he got on the bus. The traffic on the road was very bad. There
were too many vehicles and Jerry's bus arrived at the airport late. His plane departed for Italy at 11.30 and Jerry didn’t catch it. So, he spoke to the airline. They told him that they didn’t have
another ticket to offer him.
