5th Week Report ( 26th August - 2nd September)

The Bridge Interactive Limited has recruited a new marketing executive. I am currently assigned
to his team. This week has been hectic. My responsibilities now include client management, idea
generation, market research, and presenting our slide to the clients I manage.

On 30th August, I went to my first client pitch. I somehow managed to fix a meeting with
Esquire Electronics. Before I made the call I researched and looked for their flaws and found out
their website compared to daraz is old and slower. Their website is built on Java which is kind of
outdated. We went to Esquire Tower beside Hatirjheel. We sat there in the meeting room. Then
we met with the IT team and discussed our idea of why they should invest in their website and
make it faster and more efficient. We offered them the data analytics report every week and
monthly for them to understand their operations more deeply. We provide data driven solutions
because it helps to give insights to business owners. They liked our presentation and also gave us
requirements to make a sample of their iOS and android application with the similar interface of
the website. We are currently working on this.

The next client I went to this week is the Asian Paints Bangladesh. I reached them with the
campaign proposal for the upcoming cricket world cup. Shakib Al Hassan is the captain of
Bangladesh National Team plus the brand ambassador of Asian Paints Bangladesh. With this
information in mind I reached the marketing team and tried to land a meeting. As soon as we
fixed the meeting, we made a presentation slide with all our ideas. I went to the pitch too. It was
a new process to see how well prepared and vastly knowledgeable one has to be in these
scenarios. Like I made a mistake by trying to contribute to the conversation. I said something
which kind of conflicted with one of our ideas. Thankfully, I diverted the statement and could
convince them. After the meeting my boss told me that in order to engage with them I have to be
well prepared on all the prospects that digital marketing covers. But he appreciated that I had the
ability to talk swiftly. He encouraged me to attend more client meetings since he saw a potential
that I could be used in presenting the ideas.

Overall, this week for me was more practical and all the work was mostly done outside of the
office. I would say that I liked working outside the office. Sitting at the office is not exciting. I
think this internship has been proven more exciting and resourceful for me than I anticipated.
