CUBISM

Cubism is an early 20th-century avant-garde art movement that

revolutionized European painting and sculpture, and inspired
related movements in music, literature and architecture. But
today were going to talk about Cubist artwork. In Cubist
artwork, objects are analyzed, broken up and reassembled in an
abstracted form instead of depicting objects from a single
viewpoint, the artist depicts the subjects from a multitude of
viewpoints to represent the subject in a greater context.
Cubism has been considered the most influential art movement
of the 20th century. It was created by Pablo Picasso (Spanish,
1881-1973) and Georges Braque (French, 1882-1963) in the
Paris between 1907 and 1914. (Paste pictures in the board)
Explanation:
ENGLISH;
The main idea of cubism is that the cubist wanted to show the
whole structure of objects in their paintings without using
techniques such as perspective or graded shading to make
them look realistic. They wanted to show things as they really
are not just to show what they look like.
The Cubist style emphasized the flat, two dimensional surface
of the picture plane, rejecting the traditional techniques of
perspective, foreshortening, modeling and refuting time-
honourned theories that art should imitate nature.
FILIPINO;
