Thismeetingwasorganizedtoequipthegeneralstaff,especiallytheevaluatorsoft
henecessaryinformation/
toolsneededtokickstartanddoourworkwiththeseriousnessneededinothertopr
oducedesiredresult.Thisplatformwasusedtoprepare3rdtermresumption/
advisoryevaluationschedules.
RESUMPTIONINSPECTION
Wevisitedandsuccessfullyevaluatedsixtythree(63)schoolscomprisingoffortysi
x(46)publicschoolandtwentyprivateschools,whosereportshavebeenprepared
andsenttotheheadquarters.
ADVISORYINSPECTION
Theadvisoryinspectionwasconductedaccordingtothescheduleearlierprepared
.AtotalofOneHundredandThirtythree(133)schoolswerevisitedandevaluations
uccessfullycarriedout.ThisschoolsincludedEightySix(86)PrivateschoolsandFift
yseven(57)publicschools.Inbothinspections,weevaluatedOnehundredandnin
ety-three(193)schoolswithinthetermandhadnoproblembeyondourcontrol.
SITEINSPECTION
WeconductedsiteinspectiononSix(6)privateschools,theirfileshavebeentakent
otheheadquartersforonwardprocessing.

UNREGISTEREDSCHOOLS
Thezoneidentifiedandsentthelistofunregisteredschoolstotheheadquartersasr
equired,numberingOneHundredandThirty(130).Though,outofthisnumber,so
meofthemhaveshowedcommitmentbycomingtotheofficetopurchasebothgui
delinesandapplicationformsleadingtofurtherregistrationstagesahead.Withint
heterms,wealsoheldseveralstaffmeetings.Thisplatformwasusedtoencourage
everystafftobediligentandproductivetoofficialduties.
WELFARE
Thestaffwelfareiseffectiveandparticipatory.Allstaffenjoyeditsdividendsaccord
ingly.
SECURITY
Duetothelocationoftheofficeweareprunedtosecuritychallenges.Tothisendwe
haveengagedthreesecurityguardstohelpsecuretheofficepremises.
WORKSHOP/TRAINING
TheZonewasfullyrepresentedatthehanding/
takingoverleadershipceremonyoftheformerandthecurrentDirectorsoftheDep
artmentofQualityAssuranceJabiheadquarters.Asazoneourrepresentativeinth
epersonsofMrs.OkoroandMrs.Orjifullyparticipatedinthetraining:STANDARD
OPERATIONPROCESS(SOP)organizedbytheDirectorDepartmentofQualityAss
urance;Dr.EdenFavourNse.thetrainingwasquiterevealingandinteresting.
Inthecourseoftheterm,ourDeskofficerMr.ChidiebereO.Ealsoattendedathree-
daystafftrainingon:EducationQualityAssurance.Thiswasorganizedbythetraini
ngarmofeducationsecretariatwhichtookplaceinArea11.Thistrainingwasveryi
mpactfulandeducative.

Thezonewitnessedachangeinitsleadershiphierarchy:Mr.KarickS.Mwastransfe
rredtothezoneaszonalcoordinatingevaluator(ZCE)totakeoverfromMrs.Okoro
whowastransferredtoDQAKwaliZone.
