The "Cuzin Toma - If I can, you can" Association, founded in 2019, strongly believes in shaping

people through culture. Access to art changes destinies, a strong example being the founder

and president of the association, the actor Cuzin Toma.

Through cultural projects, we contribute to the promotion, encouragement and stimulation of

regional and local development, facilitating the access of rural residents to culture and

contemporary art. The events carried out by the association in the period 2019-2022 put the

commune of Peștișani on the tourist and cultural map of Romania, being declared a tourist

resort.

The main goal of the association is to promote art and culture in the Romanian countryside,

constantly contributing to its development through organized projects and programs, cultural

"If I can, so can you" is not a motto, it is a fact. I say it with all conviction.

The culture helped me accept and overcome my condition.

“Film in Sat” is the project that started from my desire to return to the community where I left a little

from the experience gained in what is called education and culture.

The festival comes with a huge chance for many children. Access to culture. When I say culture, I mean

everything. Art, history, science. Film is that artistic branch that unites everything related to the

identity of a people. Traditions, customs, history. Film is our collective memory.

This year, the Village Film Art Festival will be present in 10 villages, which will become cultural capitals

for each of us.

NATIONAL CULTURAL PHENOMENON
"Film in Sat” Art Festival is the biggest cultural event in the rural environment in Romania. In
the last 2 years it has become a brand through the quality and variety of events. Film
screenings, workshops, plays, art exhibitions and concerts.

"Film in Sat" is a unique event that brings culture and contemporary art as close as possible to

rural residents, contributes to the evolution of young people and adults through the

development of creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.

The partnership with the Ministry of Culture and other cultural institutions, as well as the
positive attitude of the authorities, guarantee the recurring character of the festival and allow us
to offer free entry and free access to all the activities carried out.

In the coming years, the festival will be present in all counties in Romania.
