Inequality: In Someone’s Eye

Unfair treatment is still one of the challenges that many individuals encounter today. It is really
concerning that people are still judged based on their physical features, gender identity, and
socioeconomic background. This type of problem continues to exist, not only in schools but also across
our entire community.

In my 20 years on earth, I have witnessed and experienced how others discriminate and treat someone
unequally. As a youth, I want to be the voice of those who would rather keep their mouths shut than be
criticized by society. It is my duty to be a change agent and a source of peace and love.

No one is superior or inferior in the eyes of God and the law. We must treat one another with respect.
Let us stop treating people based on what our eyes see and instead use our hearts to judge their worth
because I believe that genuine personality comes from the heart and not from physical traits.

We are all looking for improvement and change, but few of us are willing to put these words into action.
Always remember that you cannot change what’s going on around you until you start changing what’s
going on within you.
