Performance Task: Film Analysis

The class will watch the film entitled, “28 Days”. After watching the film. The class will analyze and
critique it by writing a film analysis essay. The following will serve as guide questions in writing your
film analysis:

1. What are your thoughts with the film you watched? Explain.
2. How was counseling portrayed in the film?
3. What goals, scope, and principles of counseling were you able to observe in the film?
Identify which part you observed it.
4. What is the role and function of the counselor in the film?
5. What specific work area of a counselor is portrayed in the film?
6. Considering the film that you watched, what is the importance of counseling?

The submitted film analysis will be graded using this rubric:
