Project Proposal

1. Project Title: Reduce, Reuse, and Refill.

2. Description

Rationale

One of the worst problems in our country is the proliferation of waste that is no longer

usable, so it is just dumped everywhere, which in turn causes many disasters such as

environmental degradation, rising flood levels, air pollution, a smelly environment, and

deaths of animals in the ocean and even on land. So to reduce the increase in waste that

causes catastrophic disasters, we thought of a community project proposal entitled

Reduce, Reuse, and Refill.

Through the refillable station, the use of plastic waste will be reduced, and people in

the community can reuse their containers or plastic containers to minimize the need for

new materials that cause the increase in waste. Some of its benefits are protecting the

environment and limiting the use of plastics or waste that cause damage to the

environment. Our proposal's purpose is to help protect our environment and make it
more attractive, to prevent environmental problems, and teach people to be more

environmentally conscious.

Duration

7-8 months (June 2022- January 2023)

Target Clienteles/ Participants

This project is led by our NSTP/CWTS subject teacher, in collaboration with family

members, Barangay personnel, and members of the community.

Proponents (Name, Year and Course

Collaborating Agency

Barangays' community as well as with other persons who were available to help.

3. Objectives

a. To help reduce the amount of plastic and packaging waste.

b. To help assist in both financial and environmental savings by bringing own containers

for refilling instead of repurchasing a plastic bottle and creating waste.

c. To provide each barangay with affordable and convenient liquid soaps.

d. To raise public awareness of the environmental benefits of reducing, reusing, and

recycling plastic containers.

e. To fulfill the needs for liquid soaps in each barangay at a lower and more affordable

price.
